It started with a warm welcome from all the staff, a good sized room and really comfy bed. Breakfast was superb. The grounds of the hotel are stunning.Bathroom was slightly dated, however it was functional and clean. I cannot emphasise enough how welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable the staff are.Simply brilliant place to stay. There is a bar on site, however I... More

Stayed here during a business visit to Bristol. Hotel is set in beautiful green surrounding and very impressive building. No restaurant facility for even bar snacks. Room was a good size and clean but the bathroom was outdated and in need of restoration. Breakfast was acceptable except for bacon that was very dry.

I stayed here this week for a one-night stay. My room was fine, with a comfortable bed, decent TV, and free wifi. The staff were very helpful. It was very good value too. Breakfast was a bit of a let down. The bacon was more like biltong. Other reviewers have mentioned this - so please owners take note. Now just... More

I spent a few weeks training in this hotel. A lovely building with an interesting history. It was interesting to see how easily the hotel functioned alongside of the training activity. Oh, the cats were adorable and were quick to train us to open doors for them!

My room was ok clean, adequate and the bed comfortable but the breakfast is a buffet affair with pretty much everything over cooked, and no fresh fruit ie grapefruit so I reached for a bit of fruit and got a bit more than I bargained for and obviously from the mold growth the fruit bowl doesn't get cleaned very often... Beautiful house and friendly staff. Daughter had her wedding celebrations here and everyone commented on the venue. Once behind the walls you forget you are in a busy city. The day went without a hitch and we had the house to our selves. We could not fault the food and service which was effortlessly provided by all the staff. The... More

I stayed here two nights for work and can't fault The Beeches. When I checked in they upgraded me to a double room rather than a single, as I was travelling alone and they weren't at all busy, so that was a lovely treat. The building is beautiful with a lot of Victorian character. My room was lovely with a... More

Hidden behind an industrial estate on the edge of the city sits a gem of a hotel. The welcome was warm, accommodation comfortable, great shower and value for money very good. The only negatives - the decor particularly carpets are very aged and breakfast was on from 0730.

Stayed for two nights, friendly staff on arrival. It is in its own grounds which are very near to an industrial estate, The hotel is very dated, our room was large with a four poster bed, the room had a very old smell about it, the large bathroom with wonky floors but had plenty of towels and toiletries, bed was... I can't explain or even preach enough goodness about this hotel. I booked a room for one night because I travel across the UK for work, so stay in hotels the majority of my time but this place and the friendliness and helpfulness which was far beyond the job descriptions of the owner (and owners friend) is just a story...
