Me and my friend booked a twin room for a visit as we were going to the local theatre later that night. Before we arrived I was pleased to have a phone call from the gentleman in charge to say he could give us 2 single rooms instead. On arrival we were shown to our rooms and very happy with... More

We stayed here over night on the 20th July. Our room was lovely, spotless clean, bed was very comfortable. But without a doubt the lady owner was amazing, there's nothing she won't do to make your stay perfect, the breakfast which was included in the price was excellent, full English, cereal, fresh fruit pots of tea and coffee, so much... Very friendly staff that were able to let us check in early. Good location and a delicious breakfast. Free car park situated at the rear of hotel. Room was a bit dated but clean, bar the rogue hula hoop that had escaped under the dressing table.

We thought it was not a hotel more like a large B&B.We were not made to feel welcome and the reception was inside the door way. Then the room was very small and dirty the bathroom was so small you could hardly get in we were very disappointed. The only good thing was the breakfast and the waitress.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in April. Loved every minute of it. Staff and owner could not do enough for us. Had a front very spsvious bedroom with lovely views in all directions, but high spec. double-glazing meant that we heard no sounds from the road outside to disturb us and as a result had perfect nights of... Stayed one night for business. Friendly welcome. Lovely bright clean room. Ensuite on the small side but more than adequate. Free parking behind the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend for inexpensive stopover. The hotel was full, breakfast service was excellent. Overall a well run, pleasant venue.

Felt staff were going through the motions. Rooms were clean and plenty of fruit at breakfast. Car park was at back of hotel access by narrow road with pot holes. Then dark alley to front of hotel. Not a place I would revisit.
