We chose this hotel as it's close to the City centre & a great base. We stayed in a King delux room. More expensive but on the 5th floor. Whist the room was spacious it also looked tired & dated. The toilet did not flush properly & could of be one an issue. However the large

Dear andrewfoxon540 Thank you for completing a review of your recent stay with us. I am sorry to read that you felt your room was looking a little past it's best and that your toilet was not functioning properly. I have forwarded your comments on to my Maintenance Manager for further investigation. I am pleased that you were very comfortable in the large King size bed. You're quiet right though, in that there's plenty more to see and experience in Bristol, other than the inside of a hotel room. Your choice of hotel was very good for someone looking to get out and explore the city of Bristol. Everything is within easy walking distance of the hotel. The harborside is just a 3 minute walk from our front door, Bristol Temple Meads used to be about 4 minutes away in the other direction, but the current Bristol City Centre road works make it a little more like 7 minutes now. All three of Bristol's theatres (Hippadrome, Colston Hall and the Bristol Old Vic) are all within about a 10 minute walk. I do hope that you will be coming back to Bristol in the near future. I would love to be able to welcome you back once again.

I stayed for two nights at the end of November on a work trip. I’d had a long journey and a bit of a nightmare getting to the hotel so was very grateful for the friendly attentive service of the staff and the complimentary cookie when I arrived! My room was extremely clean,

Dear andyirwin89 Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing that experience in an online review. Your rewarding your stay with top marks of 5/5, is very much appreciated. I am sorry that you had to suffer the road works that are affecting the center of Bristol at the moment. They can be a challenge, especially after a tough day. What better way to relax than enjoy a complimentary chocolate chip and walnut cookie, before retiring to your room. Travel can really take it out of you. We hope that our small gesture of the welcome Cookie, helps you feel a little bit more relaxed and ready to forget the day and unwind. We don't always get everything 100% right and should we make a mistake, we will do our very best to Make It Right for you. I am sorry to read that you experienced a problem with your second night's meal but it's great to read that when brought to our attention, it was resolved quickly and to your satisfaction. Once again, a really big thank you for choosing to stay with us. I hope to be able to welcome you back once again.

Firstly, the good things: Clean, spacious hotel in an excellent location for exploring the city centre. Breakfast was good and the Kiln staff were all attentive and could not be faulted. The not so good: The less than helpful gentleman on the desk yesterday afternoon (Feb 9th)

Dear hywels, Thank you for taking the time to complete a review about your recent stay with us. I am sorry that you have come away from the experience with not the best impression of the hotel. Communication is very important within hospitality and it would seem that there was clearly a break down in communication with regards resolving the issue that you were experiencing in your bathroom. Once any issue is reported to any staff member it should be recorded and routed to the correct department for resolution. Clearly that did not happen in this case and I am sorry that your family were left in an awkward situation for the evening. I am disappointed to read your comments with regards how you felt our team members handled the situation. I will be speaking with my Front Office Manager about this. I am pleased that it isn't all negative and that you found our location, cleanliness and your breakfast experience to your liking. We're nice and close to the city centre but without being stuck right in the middle. I do hope that this has not permanently marred your opinion of the hotel and that we can look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Perfectly fine hotel, keeps up with the double tree image, room was decent. Not too happy about the £15 car parking charge. It was at 1.45am when things went downhill, a group on unruly guests decided that a huge alcohol fuelled fist fight in the corridor was a good idea.

This hotel has always been my choice of hotels in Bristol, however I do feel they are beginning to neglect Hilton Honors Gold members. The reason I have always booked this hotel is because they always used to offer free parking for Gold/Diamond members. On check in I wasn’t

Dear paull25 Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your recent stay with us and for contacting my colleague directly. I am sorry that your most recent stay has left you a feeling a bit let down by the service that you have received. We certainly appreciate our regular guests and Hilton Honor members alike. We changed the parking charges back in April 2018 and it was a decision that wasn't taken lightly at all. We would like to be able to provide complimentary upgrades for all of our regular Hilton Honor members, especially our Diamond and Gold ones. However, this is not always possible. Essentially we have a very high percentage of Diamond & Gold members that stay with us through the week. We have added complimentary drinks vouchers for our Diamond and Gold members, along with over 60 Nespresso machines within our rooms. I do hope that this has not permanently marred your opinion of the hotel and that we can look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

The past 4 times we stayed there the parking was free, I’m not sure if they have changed the parking charges since our last stay in June last year.
