Very central hotel, our room being located overlooking the floating harbour which was lovely. Although very central and lot happening at night times there was no disturbance whatsoever due to the double glazing in the room. All the staff were very courteous, pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and perfectly satisfactory. We had a wonderful time in Bristol with... More

We had reserved at Superior Double room directly on the hotel website. On arrival we were offered three room choices, one overlooking the car park, one over the street and one harbourside view with "only a shower" We chose the latter. Perhaps it was the wrong one, for the room was smaller than expected, allowing just a standard double bed... More

The Bristol Hotel was a lovely, smart and beautifully located place from which to explore this marvellous city. On arrival, I was warmly greeted and treated to an upgrade to a superior room, with Nespresso machine and a great view over the river. The facilities were good and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly fine and the staff were... More

Had a night mare check in with the reception lady!she actually listen in to my conversation with my work buddy and them decided to pass comment on our conversation with out even being asked. It was quite hard to take in her approach and her attuide towards us. What surprised us was that she was the supervisor! No customer service... More

I booked this hotel as it was the location for a 3-day training course. It is the first time I have visited Bristol for many years and the location is excellent along the waterfront. From the moment I arrived at front desk, to all the interaction with hotel staff, eating and drinking in the restaurant/bar to my final departure I... More

We booked direct with hotel & the process caused some misunderstandings & varying prices perhaps due to difficulty in understanding staff accents over the phone. The stay was great. We were warmly welcomed & as we were staying on the Hendricks rate, car parking was included. The room was well presented, modern & clean with nice toiletries. we were in... More

We had booked a superior room and noted on the booking it was an anniversary break away, we were put in room 515 which must have been the worst room and fit for one umpa lumpa! The bed wasn't a double, it was smaller, you needed to be a size 10 or less to have a shower comfortably and the... More

Amazing hotel with excellent rooms. The stay was friendly and warm and if you can get the gin deal... Excellent although cocktails available are limited(although it is a free cocktail so nothing to complain really). Suite rooms are lovely and spacious although bathroom is cramped. Nespresso machine as expected and breakfast was tasty.

Stunning hotel, right in the centre of the City, backing onto quay with footbridge into centre and all the bars. The room was spotless although fairly small, really comfy bed. Lovely full English over looking quay.

I stayed in room 524 and although the room was very comfortable, it was small and there was no air conditioning on a warm evening which made the atmosphere stuffy. I was staying here on business but had I stayed here with my wife I'm not sure how happy I would have been with the overall experience. Overall the hotel... More

Dear Jeremy F, Thank you for the great review. We have a variety of rooms available ranging from the Standard, which is you were staying in, to Superior and Deluxe. Our SUperiors and Deluxes are larger with AC in both and certainly would be more suitable to a relaxed experience in the future if you decided to have a relaxing... More
