I am undergoing further training at the university of west England so needed a cheap place to stay that wasn't awful! I have found it! The base is excellent. It is quiet, comfortable and clean. Whilst staying here I could easily park my car for free on the drive. The kitchen is clean with everything I needed to be able...

I've used the Base off and on over the last two years when working in Bristol. The rooms are comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities excellent. The kitchen has the all equipment you need to self cater if required. Good mix of other visitors. Never had a problem and met a good mix of people. I have parked in...

Visited The Base in November 2015 for a hen do with a group of 17 ladies. From very first enquiry, Jacqui was extremely helpful, friendly and warm. On arrival, the process of obtaining keys was simple and safe, we were immediately impressed with the space, decor and condition of the rooms, plenty of space for everyone! The house was a...

I only stayed one night at The Base, but it was great. I really appreciated the self-service kitchen, ensuite bathroom and free wifi. Everything was well taken care of, but I never saw any staff and hardly any other guests. It was very quiet and peaceful. There is no one there to receive you, but you have all you need...

I arranged a hen party for 10/12 guests and we stayed in the Urban Villa. I was very impressed by the size of the rooms and the layout was perfect! We used the end bedroom that was connected to a conservatory to gather in for the evenings. Jacqui was amazing with helping me pick the accommodation and providing me with...

Me and my family have stayed here a few times now and love it... It's has a very laid-back, help yourself attitude... It is much cheaper than a hotel, has self catering facilities and is in a great location with shops & good restaurants etc nearby... We have always stayed in room 4 which has a very well kitted out...

I stayed in room 8 which overlooks the garden and so is very quiet. I didn't get a chance to use the garden but it looked very welcoming. The other guests were an eclectic mix, but all friendly, and it felt very homely that a little boy and his family's labrador were playing in the hallway when I arrived. I...

Amazing place to stay with a group of friends. Location amazing. Kitchen/dining area fully equipped for a large party and lots of space in this area. We rented out the house and flat and couldn't fault it and would definitely return again. Near to Bristol town centre in cab and also only 30 minutes from Bath in scan. Bars nearby...

I had to move unexpectedly, not having nowhere to stay for the night I quickly looked online for reasonable guesthouses came across this one. I called and spoke to the young lady told her I'm a tourist I don't have cards I can pay by cash, she said no problem. So after taking two buses just to reach there, upon...
