I stayed at the Ibis for work and after a long day would head to the restaurant for dinner before sloping up to my room to get ready for the next day of work Each evening I was greeted by Michael and Chu who were so warm, welcoming, friendly and really made me smile at the end of each day The food in the restaurant was insanely good, I ordered off the chefs menu each night and the steak was the stand out for me. I did ask for peppercorn sauce as it doesn’t come with a sauce normally and the chef made me one from scratch which was stunningly tasty! The room was clean, bed was comfy and what to be expected for a budget stay but the standout memories for me were dinner and breakfast Thank you Michael, Chu and chef for making my stay lovely

Nice enough bed but an odd airplane-plastic type bathroom that creaks and dust everywhere and soaps not restocked. Cleaning team needs to do a lot better, especially for the price... The receptionists were absolutely lovely and willingly accommodating but overall the location was the best bit about the stay.

My partner and I have just returned from a very enjoyable weekend in Bristol(19th-21st Aug). We stayed here back in July this year so decided to return. We recommended the hotel to two friends who came and stayed there as well. We had room 213 which is at the back of the building but as we only needed the room to rest it didn't matter. The room was clean and very comfortable with a good shower. Check in was simple and the staff were very pleasant. We like the idea of the hotel having its own ironing room which we used whilst there. We used the bar on the Friday night when we returned to the hotel, Two double Hendrick gins and a mixer was nearly £20.00 ! But I suppose that's city prices for you. We are looking forward to returning in October for another enjoyable time. Thankyou to you all at Ibis Temple Quay.

Ibis temple quay has a chef who knows his stuff. Delicious and very filling! The bar staff lead by Sabrina are so efficient, friendly and helpful. Worth passing a few hotels and restaurants for! Check it out

It's very quiet here, considering its location. Nice restaurant and bar. Nice to get a free drink included. It's clean and comfortable. Bristol is always expensive for hotels, and this is usually cheaper than Premier Inn, and even Travelodge.

Over priced hotel. Breakfast - stale croissants, no coffee, no tea, no hot water. Breakfast ingredients were cheap and unappetising. Room - smelt like previous occupant had smoked in it, drab dated and basic room. Not conducive to a comfortable night sleep. Prices for room are too high. Bar prices are London equivalent but in a hostel setting. I wouldn’t want to stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located behind Bristol Temple Meads station. I needed this location as I had a very early flight and needed to be close to the bus stop for the airport bus. After a long train journey which was delayed, I was given an upgrade to a nice themed room and some water and a cookie, which I was very grateful for so thank you to the kind man on the check-in desk

Modular style room that lacks any personality, poor condition furniture, door wouldn’t close to the bathroom and damaged wall where the plaster was exposed, not what we would expect for £110 night that didn’t include breakfast or parking. Parking was available in a long stay car park about 5 min walk from the hotel but be aware it’s going to cost you another £20 on top of your room rate. I couldn’t comment on the breakfast as we couldn’t wait to get out of the hotel in the morning. The communal areas ie. Entrance, bar, corridor etc. looked tired and in need of updating however it was clean. We wouldn’t stay here again based on our experience and the value for money that we didn’t think this was…….I would probably think twice about booking any ibis hotel based on this experience.

I liked the ibis but the reason I’m writing such a good review is because of Michael. He was so attentive during our stay. Every morning he would ask how we slept and whether he could help in anyway. He was really conversational and made us feel really welcome. Everyone said he was a really positive guy and made our stay at the ibis a real joy!! Thanks Michael 😁

Excellent staff... cannot fault this hotel. The staff, without exception are Excellent and a credit to the company. We have rarely, if ever stayed in a mote friendly hotel, nothing is too much trouble. A particular shout out to Ewa, Michael and the young man from Shri Lanka who was working in the bar. Hotel is clean and well organised. Would stay again. A little walk from the town, but near the station and frequent buses into town
