We stayed here on a stag do, the location was perfect, bars opposite on the harbour, the city centre a short walk, with more pubs, clubs and food options. Rooms were ideal for the price. Alice on reception was really helpful in organising taxis for us to get to the west country games (check this out if your looking for... More

Dear Claudia, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay. We are disappointed that you've left feeling somewhat unimpressed with your room. We note that you stayed on our fifth floor which occupies our loft rooms. Perhaps if you was to return you would find booking a en-suite room more appealing. Thank you for your... More

The location is good, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. My roommates were students not interested in conversing, so not so great in that respect. Breakfast must be paid for, and was just okay. Everything was satisfactory, a place to sleep while exploring bristol.

Third night of our Lands End to John O'Groats cycle trip. We'd chose the YHA because it is very well located and offered good value. Unfortunately the night we stopped there was a childrens sleep-over. As we'd had a long days ride and needed to get up early we thought that things would be quiet by 10pm. The hostel is... More

This hostel is in the heart of Bristol's old harbour. Close to Bristol Old Vic and the area is buzzing with activity. Go there andd discover a beautiful city. The hostel is licensed and has a wide range of craft beers and scrumpi.

We have not stayed in a large YHA for many years and were very impressed with the set up and cleanliness of this one. We had a family room which was spacious with 2 bunks. There were individual toilets and showers off the corridor opposite so no issue not being ensuite. The hostel as clean and modern with nice spacious... More

My sister and I had a great stay at the YHA in Bristol. The building seems a little older than other YHA hostels i've visited.. but facilities were well kept and maintained! The location as prime and service received was very good! Knowledgable staff! Rooms were quite spacious and had nice views out over the harbour area. A plus for... More

A group of 8 of us stayed 23 April 2016. We were met by friendly staff who directed us to our rooms. The rooms were large and clean for a hostel, although a little tired looking in places. What we did like was that there was plenty of space and very useful hooks at either end of the room for... More

This is a great location (15 mins walk from station, right by the river, opposite the @Bristol area, walking distance to the Harbour). The rooms were quad (that gives you some amount of privacy). Toilets and showers were ensuite. The travelers were not the noisy drunk backpacker sorts (which is great if that's not your type). There's a pretty chic... More

Basic enough hostel accommodation. Room a bit small and could do with a freshen up but overall good value for money and well located. Service was good, helpful etc and the cooked breakfast on the 1st floor was very nice.
