I may be biased as I got married here in Jan 2015, but I can't get enough of this place. My husband and I stayed a few times in the lead up to our wedding, for a couple of nights after our wedding and again on our first anniversary this year. So far we have only stayed in Summer, and... More

Stayed for 7 nights in August for a week of skiing and it was excellent. Accommodation included full breakfast and 3 coarse dinner. The food was first class. The 3 coarse dinner was better than most restaurants that I have been to. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed at Crackenback Farm twice this ski season. It supremely well located if you want a choice of Thredbo and/or Perisher, being 20 mins drive from Thredbo and just a few mins drive to the Perisher ski tube. The weekend packages include a wonderful 3 course dinner - plenty of opportunity to carb load in advance of or in... More

This place is awesome. Perfect combination of small, relaxed, really good food, friendly staff & location. Its only 5min to ski tube to ski perisher, 15min to Thredbo, 500m from Wild Brumby distillery. There is a guest lounge you can relax in or chill in the bar area. Nice and quiet with comfy beds. Stayed 7 nights and food was... More

Stayed at the farm which is a boutique guesthouse with a fab restaurant. It only has 8 rooms I think. Very cosy and nicely furnished (huge bed). Building was designed by glen murcott so it has some history. Now run by Jodi Evans of the famous wine family fame so the wines are pretty good. Food excellent. Driven past many... More

Big room and great view to wake up to in the morning. The bed is lovely and big with great pillows. We had dinner- the duck and the roast chicken. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Warm and friendly owners who make you feel at home. Is a great stop on the way to thredbo.

Not to be confused with Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa, Crackenback Farm is a pleasant farm stay venue with just 6 rooms - ours had a loft - and its own restaurant. Run by the owner, the staff were friendly, considerate and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The property is like a renovated old farm building with lots of... More

After a long drive in classic cars, we enjoyed the hospitality and friendship from Toby having drinks in the bar. Very nice to have a separate bar and a separate quiet lounge/reading room. The food was amazing, very fresh and tasty, lots of choice and I could have eaten them all. The bedrooms are a little small, but when with... More

The stay was very good. Guesthouse accommodation is different to motel/hotel in that the rooms are a bit more squeezy, but the atmosphere is great. Could imagine in the middle of winter this place would be brilliant with a group of friends. Great bar area and the food in the restaurant is top class and the overall hospitality from Toby... More
