WOW. If you Want to combine your love of dreamy beds and luxurious linen with a gorgeous location close to the snowfields, Crackenback Farm is for you! Welcomed by generous hosts we were delighted when showed to our room. Although compact, it felt spacious and the underfloor heating, heated towel rail and private ensuite added to the the overall charm... More

After a long drive in classic cars, we enjoyed the hospitality and friendship from Toby having drinks in the bar. Very nice to have a separate bar and a separate quiet lounge/reading room. The food was amazing, very fresh and tasty, lots of choice and I could have eaten them all. The bedrooms are a little small, but when with... More

The stay was very good. Guesthouse accommodation is different to motel/hotel in that the rooms are a bit more squeezy, but the atmosphere is great. Could imagine in the middle of winter this place would be brilliant with a group of friends. Great bar area and the food in the restaurant is top class and the overall hospitality from Toby... More

Simply a lovely environment for relaxing with excellent food, wine and wonderful hosts. Can't wait to return during winter and sample the wares again in true alpine style. Well located for all activities.

Stayed here two nights for our honeymoon. Lovely farm house. Rooms were cosy with a view of the garden. It could use a good dusting off though. Besides that service was great. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order. Because there was a gathering in the restaurant that night, they offered to arrange a romantic dinner for just the... More

We stayed mid-week at Crackenback, arriving to a welcoming open fire just as a flurry of snow swirled in from up the mountain. Loved the eclectic furnishings in the guest lounge, loved the comfy beds and beautiful bed linen. Toby Evans is a welcoming and helpful host, especially generous in his advice on further places to visit on our trip.... More

We stayed here over Easter and had a really relaxing time. The rooms were small with high ceilings and beautifully decorated. We had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, with lovely linen and a very soft and cosy doona. There was good heating for the chilly nights. The ensuite bathroom included a tea and coffee making area that... More

Three couples were thrilled to find Crackenback farm which had been booked for us by a friend. Toby Evans was a generous and charming host, we all felt it was just like staying with friends. The dinner was first class - the broth with duck ravioli delicious, as was my pork belly main. Friends enjoyed the salmon and oysters for... More

Food was delicious with 5 star service and great atmosphere. This restaurant is a hidden gem, wait staff suggestions were great and tried things I wouldn't necessarily order. This is a must if your staying in Jindabyne or heading to the snow.

We stayed at Crackenback Farm Guesthouse for a weekend in November. The weather in the Snowy Mountains was beautiful and made our stay at the Farm even better. The room was well appointed with a comfy bed, hot shower, iron & ironing board. The guesthouse only has a few rooms and this makes for a cosy, relaxed environment. Common areas... More
