Whilst this inn would benefit from an upgrade it is good for the price you pay. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Clean room. Lovely location for walking. Dog allowed in room. Open on a Monday( many aren't!) & serves food all day - a bonus. Would suggest you need to find somewhere else to store linen waiting for laundry other than... More

This was our local pub whilst we were staying in the area. Made to feel very welcome especially as we had a dog with us. Food was excellent, enormous portions and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recomment

The rooms were comfy and clean the staff very warm and welcoming and the locals were extremely charming, unpretentious and full of character. In fact everyone that we came across in this little village was friendly and up for a chat. The pubs roast comes highly recommended too!

Had a few meals at the pub while on holiday in the area. Made very welcome, especially our dog. Food is good pub fare and the beers are kept well. Would recommend it if you are in the area. Wifi is also available which is very useful when most of the houses in the region does not have it.

Stayed in Gloucester House opposite for four weeks, 2 bedroom apartment was stunning. Owners could not have been nicer, cosy place with all amenities except washing machine. Ate in the pub regularly, Sunday lunch was brilliant, tender roast beef, loads veg and Yorkshire puddings, great gravy. Roast lamb also excellent. Good range beers and wines. Rest of pub menu also... Stayed for 2 nights for the Mick Extance bike experience. The rooms are clean, the staff are excellent, and the food in the pub is great (big portions!). I definitely recommend staying if you are going out on the bikes, it is ideal.

Stayed for a night whilst riding bikes in the area. Warm welcome, friendly staff and good choice of food on offer. Very comfy bed. Definitely has a good feel about the place. Will stay again when next in the area.

Went here for something to eat whilst staying in the area the food was reasonably priced and didn't take too long to come out, the salad looked really fresh which is always a winner with me, pub was very busy though so not somewhere for a quiet meal but we enjoyed our food and the staff were very friendly, couldn't... Ideally located if you are doing the Mick Extance Enduro experience (this is spot on). The lunch and evening food is very good and breakfast good too. The room we got was a good size and clean. The downsides are the noise from the pub below carries and there was damp on the walls. Not all Freeview channels are available.... More

I travelled to the New Inn after visiting Lake Vyrnwy with my 4 year old daughter. Staff and locals were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. They even amused her by playing with a plastic snake! The hotel was busy on the night as there was live music. However, we were seated in the dining room... More
