We've just returned from a brilliant week at "a corner of Eden". We are a family of 5(children 12/10/7) and rented the farmhouse & shepherds cottage with another family. Wonderful well equipped house that felt like a home, and Comfy beds for a great sleep after walking up wild boar fell & other hills. Debbie & Richard were very helpful...

Third visit here and only reservation is sharing this place with the internet!! Peaceful location, beautifully and sympathetically renovated buildings. Works well for couples, families or groups of friends (we've done all three). Great base for walking from door onto fells or if that isn't your thing just relaxing in the very well appointed properties in peace and quiet. Fat...

We rented all of the cottages for a hen weekend, it was beautiful and well worth the money. The attention to detail in the accommodation is amazing, everywhere you look there is something different and all very luxurious. The scenery is beautiful, I wish I could stay every weekend!

A wonderful treat we had here during the February half term. It's like staying in an historic farmhouse kitted with all the mod cons you would need to fully enjoy your stay. And set in a perfectly rural location yet only a short drive from nearby towns and villages.

Staying at Shepherds Cottage was a rare treat. We booked 4 nights for our 35th wedding anniversary deciding something a bit special was required and we weren't disappointed. The cottage is snug and cosy with everything you need for your stay. Debbie and Richard have put some thought into this and it shows in spades. I knew by the quality...

We had such a fantastic time here in the Shepherd's Cottage, our little family 2 adults, a 4 year old and a Jack Russell. When we arrived Debbie showed us around, we were blown away with the quality and luxury of the accommodation. Our little boy loved the little room that was made up for him and we all loved...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Angel Barn. We can highly recommend it. The accommodation is equivalent to staying in a luxurious boutique hotel. The attention to detail is wonderful, from the homemade bread and Victoria sponge to the luxurious bathing products. The location is superb. We took trips to Kendal, Keswick and Windermere which were...
