You need to find out if your country requires it in order to renter your home country. I’m not sure where you are traveling from, but I found the CDCs advice to be on point for Americans traveling to the region. The CDC has great information for safe Peru travel.
Don’t forget to do everything you can to avoid mosquito bites. Yellow fever absolutely is present in the region of the lodge and other parts of the Amazon. As well as other mosquito borne illnesses such as dengue, malaria, etc. an ounce of prevention is worth much more than a pound of cure for these diseases.
Knowing this, we still chose to take our kids to the lodge. It was an amazing experience!
