The hotel is very old and needs refurbishment. The rooms were OK. except, it was extremely noisy as the walls are like paper and we couldn't sleep well due to noise. The worst thing about the hotel was the breakfast: extremely poor choice in the buffet, consists of lowest quality cereals and some tinned fruit. The cooked breakfast and even...

Thank you Tripadvisor for allowing us to respond to this misleading and highly distorted view of our business, particularly of our freshly prepared breakfasts which have received excellent reviews in the recent past. Perhaps the most telling part of the review was the total lack of comment on our wonderful staff team, friendly welcome, the stunning views and the fabulous...

Second visit to this hotel this time was for our 43rd anniversary. Couldn't have made a better choice, this hotel provides comfortable accommodation . The food can only be described as high quality and the service you receive is second to none. Trevor the (barman, waiter, receptionist, oddjob man) does a fantastic job and always with a smile. Had a wonderful time we...

We stayed using a voucher our son had given us as a present. Looking at previous reviews we opted for upgrading the room to a view over the fields at the rear of the building. The hotel is in three sections, an original part (in which we stayed, and two newer wings). The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful....

We have just had a two day stay at the Pilgrim and it was A1 from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a lovely part of the country, all helped by the warm, friendly staff and the excellent food. The room was large and airy with fabulous views. Cannot fault a thing about it. A definate "must...

Made welcome and had very comfortable accommodation with lovely views. Excellent choice of menu. We had the speciality dishes but there was a more traditional pub food menu available too. Dining in either the restaurant or bar. We had the fillet steak on the first night, one with fondant potato and spinach , the other with chips, mushroom and tomatoes....

Excellent spacious room very helpful and friendly staff. The food is excellent. Freshly prepared hot and plentiful. The portions are very generous and the Sticky Toffee Pudding is to die for. The portions are so generous that my wife asked if she could have Cheese and Biscuits as her main course on the second day which the staff were only...

We visited as a family of 8 including two infants and stayed in 3 rooms over 2 nights. We were on a family trip to see relatives. An excellent, homely family retreat. The restaurant was superb, the staff very attentive and the ambience of the place fantastic. The Pilgrim is not and doesn't pretend to be a 5* luxury hotel....

The Hotel is well situated on the main road & is well signposted. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean & comfortable. However, there was road noise from the heavy traffic. The Bar had a very pleasant atmosphere. The location was great for visiting Herefordshire & the Locality.I especially liked Kilpeck with its Saxon church.

Super friendly staff really make this an amazing place to stay. Dinner was superb with lots of local produce and great choices. Can't find anything negative to say about it. Marked down te sleep as the pillows were a bit soggy - but then we didn't ask for additional ones, so our own fault really. Planning to go back for...

Set in the hills just outside Hereford, this is a great place to see Wales and the countryside of Hereford. The staff are very helpful and the food was excellent. The views from the bar across the countryside are stunning. A love couple of days. I will be going back for more.
