15 of us stayed at the Diving Lodge for a 3-day pleine air painting retreat. Saying that the food was fantastic would be an understatement. Special dietary needs were catered to without problem. Great dorm-style accommodations, beautiful location, and off-site excursions, facilitated by Amanda at no extra charge, made this a top-notch experience. We're already booked for 4 days next... These guys have their act together! We keep coming back again and again. It's easy and scenic to drive there and the ferries are fun too. (hint, get the BC Ferries Experience Card and save some $$!). The resort has comfortable beds, a place to hang your dive garments so they get nice and dry, warm and toasty, plenty of... More

Thank you for your review. We are glad you found our accommodation comfortable and our food tasty. Thank you for mentioning that the diving around Hornby is much more than just sea lions, and that there is a sea lion free period (spring and summer) for those who don't like diving with them. We love summer diving, there are so... More

Always wanted to go diving with Steller's sea lions off Hornby Island. Amanda and Rob are certainly the ones to be picked to do so. I enjoyed their professional, relaxed, non-intrusive approach to guests. Clean, spacious lodging with all the amenities one need to enjoy even a sometimes rainy day. Great choice for photographers/cinematographers with all the experience both bring... More

A group of us, reserved a long weekend at Hornby Island Diving lodge and had the diving weekend of a lifetime! Amanda and Rob are amazing hosts. The lodge is nothing fancy, but it is comfortable, welcoming and you can't beat the quick walk to the dive boat. The home-cooked meals are delicious and were exactly what we needed after... More

Even though the weather was't cooperating, Rob was able to get us out for one dive at Norris. One of the best dives of my life. Had 77min of continuous interaction with the Sea Lions. FANTASTIC. Amanda and crew kept us well fed and always feeling right at home. I'll definitely be back....

A large group of us (13 divers + 2 non-divers) spent the weekend. This was our third stay here (my first as a TripAdvisor reviewer). The accommodations are simple, clean, and great for groups. The food is good and plentiful, and there is plenty for non-divers to do on the island. The boat is large with an open deck and... More

Thank you for your review. We are glad you found the accommodation suitable.
