We spent our Xmas get-away in Ecoscape Cabins. That was fantastic. Donna and Dan welcomed us, like old friends. So even the first expression was really good. And as we enter in our cabin (#1) ... nice colored walls, cozy and comfortable view to the Hardy Bay, and bald eagles were every where :) We love everything. Especially the walk-in... More

Stayed in September and had a wonderful time. The weather was rainy but that was okay because the cabin we stayed in was cozy and had everything we needed. It was a start of a 10 day long vacation and it was a perfect way to de-compress and wind down before hitting the road. The cabins have cooking facilities, mini... More

My wife and I stayed at Ecoscape on our way to Prince Rupert via ferry. The cabin in which we stayed was immaculate and made of all wood. It reminded us of Swedish Modern. The owners were pleasant and very accommodating. I'd rank this lodging with the most positive number. Robert/Novella Larson

The Ecoscape Cabin website information is trustworthy in all respects. Photos are an honest representation of the site and cabins; all descriptions are accurate and honest. The owners are eager to make your stay exactly what you want it to be and readily provide local tips and information, as well as cleaning and amenities according to your needs. It is... More

Dan and Donna seem to have got it about right. They are starting a small, economically sustainable and literally hand-built business that is driven by the fact that they like and get on with people. Opening this year, they have built six cabins of various sizes from recycled natural materials, but with a real sense of design and style to... More

We just returned from a one week Kayak trip from northern Vancouver Island. We stayed two nights at Ecoscape Cabins in Port Hardy. The cabins are brand new, beautifully designed and constructed plus they were absolutely spotless. The slate bathroom with the rain shower was amazing. Donna and Dan were so warm and helpful and made us feel right at... More

What a great place for a rest/relaxation vacation! Owners are offering something more than mere accommodation; there's TLC in these cabins. (Best beds on our two week holiday!) Escape from hustle and bustle - reconnect with nature. And all at a great price! Location is a bit tricky if on foot, (a little canteen with basic supplies might have been... More

Dan and Donna built these cabins with their own hands, and their service is also hands-on. They prepared a breakfast-to-go bag for our early ferry departure. The decorative details have a South Beach-style flair: wave-shaped cut glass separates the shower area from the rest of the bathroom, fixtures are modern and stylish, the shower has a rain-head and river-rock floor,... This is a special place and great owners that will make your stay wonderful. Dan and Donna are energetic and exceptional hosts. They know the area and have local "to do" suggestions you will not online or in a book. We did everything they suggested and were more than happy. Port Hardy is more than a stop off point. Lots... Beautifully built and finished cabins. We stayed in the lofted cabin that sleeps 4. Beds were wonderfully comfortable and bedding sumptuous. The bathroom was fantastic - river rock flooring in the shower and lovely tiling. A well-outfitted kitchen - loved the dining table. The view was spectacular and it was such a treat to be able to take morning coffee... More
