My husband and I arrived here around midnight after coming off the ferry. Marty was welcoming and showed us around. What a nice roomy suite! If we had been staying several days, we really would have enjoyed the living room area. We had a great sleep, and enjoyed the fresh bread, smoked salmon, etc. left for our breakfast.

We arrived in the middle of the night (the Prince Rupert ferry was 3 hours late) and Marty was waiting for us. Marty went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Our breakfast was already waiting for us: smoked salmon, homemade jam, freshly baked homemade bread, juice, cereals, milk, fruit, cheese and eggs. It was absolutely wonderful. The... More

We often stay in B&B 's and some make you feel at home and some don't , Marty goes beyond to accommodate. 4 of us stayed and asked I'd we could do a crab cook up, fully expecting a no but instead Marty said yes and even drove to this son's to get a canner. We asked him to join... More

I believe I enjoyed your visit as much as you folks. It is wonderful having visitors from far and near, we learn from each other what works and what doesn't (like I am doing now with this response) . I totally enjoy having our B&B , I worked in retail sales & service all my working career and still feel... More

My husband and I stayed at First Choice B&B at the end of July, for one night before taking the Inside Passage ferry the next day. The B&B is run by Marty whose hospitality is just fantastic! The room we had was very comfortable, the breakfast was very nice and the B&B has Wifi. The B&B is a real home... More

We arrived by the recommended shuttle at 12.30pm (our ferry from Prince Rupert stopped in Bella Bella, which it only does sometimes) and our hostess was waiting for us with a welcoming lighted house. The B&B portion of the house is self-contained on the ground floor with the owners living upstairs. It is a spacious studio apartment with living area... More

My partner and I really had a good stay at Marty's house in July. He was very helpful and constantly considerate of our needs such as offering us a ride to the beach and even to the ferry terminal early in the morning! We felt relaxed in his comfy home and also enjoyed his hearty homemade breakfast. This was indeed... More

Enjoyed a great stay with Sharon and her family. Large, fresh, and very clean suite. Comfortable beds, very quiet neighbourhood. Very warm welcome and helpful getting us settled. Delicious fresh home-made bread with condiments including smoked salmon for breakfast. Would not hesitate to recommend this B&B.

A warm welcome, a big clean room and a continental breakfast with dry salmon with maple syrup (delicious) we do not need more after a long ferry ride and that is what you get from Sharon.

We had a two night stay here after arriving on the ferry from Prince Rupert. Ahead of our stay the proprietors had kindly told us about the transport that is available from the ferry into town that drops you at their door called "Port Hardy Transportation* at a cost of $6.50 per person which was great when you arrive 10.30pm...
