Just back from spending 3 nights here and couldn't wait to say how good it has been. From our arrival late in the evening, which meant Ian had to curtail his evening trip out to welcome us, until our departure, everything was absolutely perfect. The bedroom was lovely, super clean and comfortable, and remained that way the whole time we... More

Very warm and friendly welcome on arrival from host Lynne. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed there, and a really good shower. The breakfasts are top class. I started with the healthy option of fruit and homemade yogurt before moving on to a "full English" followed by toast and homemade jam and marmalade - a... More

Great location - a relatively short walk from Thor's Cave, fantastic views, and walks. Great accommodation - we had a double room that was well-equipped, super clean, and really comfortable. We were delighted with our little Easter treat - Lindt chocolate bunnies! Great breakfast - lots of choice (for meat and vegatarians), well-cooked and presented. Highly recommended for the homemade... More

The great service started with the text telling us how to get to the B&B from the pub (Satnav takes you there), continued with recommended walks and places to eat, and finished with help finding a lost item after we'd left! The building is highly characteristic, very well kept and with some very nice decoration. The location is utterly brilliant.... More

Great food with a selection of homemade delights from yogurt to jams. A spotless house with all the charm you would expect from a period property. The hosts are wonderful with lots of local knowledge and advice. We loved our stay in the old chapel.

I rented the old school house with friends and we could not have had a better time. It really felt like an authentic Peaks experience and I'm not surprised to read high praise for Lynne on here already as she could not have been more helpful. The Internet is a little slow and you need a car to get to... More

Large room, big comfortable bed, very well appointed shower room. Breakfast, served upstairs in a lovely dining space, was exceptional. High quality local produce alongside excellent homemade bread, preserves and yoghurt. Lynne is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic host, whose many additional touches lift the Old Chapel above other upscale B&Bs. For example, OS maps to take when walking and a... More

We stayed two nights at this exceptional B & B. Very hospitable host (Lynne) who went the extra mile. Very friendly, clean and comfortable in a beautiful area. Very good breakfast sets you up for the day. Excellent pub for delicious food a very short walk away. Hopefully we will return soon. Highly recommended!

Lynne was the perfect host and the old chapel was immaculately presented, the breakfast is incredible and the homemade jams an extra touch! I would reccommend the Old chapel to anyone, 10/10 from Saul & Jenny! P.S if Lynne recommends you book a table to eat locally take her advice, we didn't and went hungry!
