We visited the camp site over the weekend just passed and whilst it was set in a beautiful area, it was full of rowdy folk who would have been better suited to a weekend at butlins. More frustratingly, the 'No noise after 10.30' rule was...More

I had high hopes for Rivendale but I think overall the site just didn't quite meet expectations. The Meadows area was nice enough but chocca with other tents and felt quite claustrophobic. As for the facilities then hmmmm- i' d say be wary of what...More

Pitches seem to cater more for the caravan/tent community. Very few pitches seem to have enough grass to allow a table & chairs to be used alongside one's unit. Yes I know it;s an ex quarry site, but website photographs mainly show lovely green environment....More

I am sorry you were disappointed, we have all hard-standing and 50/50 pitches available for you to choose from, the latter come into their own on wet days when grass turns to mud - simply specify what you want when booking, as unfortunately we tend...More

Sorry, I can't answer as we stopped in our Motorhome. Dogs must be kept on a lead and the cabins look very nice. Give them a call, the staff are very friendly.

We have a touring caravan . Is there anywhere on site to play football away from units . We have a 13 yrs old that NEEDS (apparantly ) the ability to kick about with others on holiday and we never allow him if not a designated place

Yes there is a grassed area where the play equipment is, I think it would be big enough for a kick about.
