Everything from the booking process to to quality of the cottage, was excellent. We were made to feel welcome from the first., and there was a real attention to detail in the cottage. Special mention must be made of the quality of the hot tub, and of the food. The largest compliments go to all of the staff, who provided... More

Great place and well accommodated for disabled people. The welcome by the owners was pleasant, even a personilsed welcome board when you arrive, great personal touch. Kitchen well equipped which made it easy to cook meals. Plenty of fuel on site to keep warm on winter days and beautiful scenery to look out on to. Great location to escape from... More

We stayed in the cottage for two nights in December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely has has everything you need to make you feel at home. The owners are lovely people and we received a warm welcome, homemade bread, fresh eggs and milk, as well as shortbread biscuits. The cottage is a perfect little getaway, a... More

Perfect stay in a gorgeous, homely cottage. We had the cottage to ourselves and the little touches just accentuated the lovely, relaxing stay. Large, spacious rooms, lovely comfy beds. Homemade biscuits and fresh milk from the farm each day in our rooms. Bathrooms a tad small but not a negative. Fine for what you need. Plenty of food in the... More

We cannot rate this holiday highly enough. 5 stars does not do it justice. We felt like we were part of the Beechenhill family. Our quiet two-person cottage was exactly that, but the lovely and generous company of our hosts and other guests was just around the corner. Great food, great accommodation, great scenery, great weather (for late October) and... More

We had an amazing stay here recently with our 2 kids (4 & 9months). We booked the two B&B rooms which gave us lots of room, including a cot for baby. The breakfast room had a highchair & kid-sized cutlery, which was great. (Breakfast = amazing). There really is amazing attention-to-detail at Beechenhill Farm from the hosts and it made... More

Welcoming family farm in a picturesque location. Ideally based to walk, cycle and explore some lovely villages and landscapes. The cottage was lovely to spend evenings cooking together and had everything needed. There are also a great selection of pubs and tea rooms to eat in. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous setting on the edge of the high ground giving fabulous views over the valley. Luxurious bathrooms, bedding and lounge with modern kitchen and good wifi. Friendly farm dogs and a hot tub complete a perfect set up. Wonderfully quiet, this is a place to escape from the world and this is further emphasised by the numerous great walks from... More

A friend and I spent a week in the Cottage by the Pond at Beechenhill. I cannot say enough positive things about the location, the farm, the accommodations, and the owners. The cottage was cute, clean, well-appointed and quiet. We were welcomed with a lovely cake, plenty of tea and a fridge full of the local groceries we had requested.... More
