Thank you to all at Beechenhill for ensuring a trip to this beautiful farm with its stunning countryside setting was so peaceful, enjoyable and relaxed. Alex was present to meet us on our arrival and show us around the cottage. It was clean, roomy, and beautifully appointed, with the most delicious looking Victoria sponge cake tempting us to devour which... More

My family and I spent four wonderful nights in the Cottage by the Pond in early August. The location could not be more perfect - with wonderful views, and true peacefulness. Staying on a working farm was great for us and the children - feeding the goats, collecting eggs, watching the cows being milked (and being chased by the odd... More

Beechenhill Farm B & B was just about perfect. A beautiful, quiet location with far-reaching views. A very friendly, helpful family, very comfortable bedroom and wonderful breakfasts with everything from organic yoghurt, home-made bread, marmalade and jam right through to a full English breakfast! An excellent area for walking in the Derbyshire Dales.

We held out wedding in the Hay Loft at Beechenhill at the end of July. What a beautiful venue! From the first moment we saw the Loft we just knew it was the right place. We were only having a small wedding of about 45 friends and family and the upper floor of the Loft was perfect. Intimate, rustic and... More

I recently stayed at Beechenhill Farm ,Cottage by the Pond with my parents and children- our party ranged from age 7 to 89 so it's difficult to find somewhere suitable for everyone. Beechenhill ticked every box. Very comfortable, it was good being able to have central heating when we needed it (yes despite it being late July. I have stayed... More

Our visit to Beechenhill could not have been more perfect. A warm welcome. Fabulous food, beautiful room and magnificent views. From the moment we arrived until we left our time away was heavenly. To have the freedom for the children to play in the gardens whilst we enjoyed the amazing views was just perfect. Really liked the Beechenhill for Children... More

As a long time (nearly 30 years!) admirer of the work that Terry, Sue and their family have put into the farm and holiday accomodation, I cannot reccomend them highly enough. Just go and experience the place for yourself, a must for lovers of beautiful countryside, wonderful breakfasts and superb accomodation.

Stayed in the B&B 29th and 30th June with my husband and two year old daughter. Lovely welcome from the family and the two friendly dogs, Gem and Hattie. Alex and Rob's little boy Douglas was an excellent host and showed us around on arrival. Beechenhill is such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. You're made to feel at home... More

Inspiring setting.. Calm, comfortable accommodation. Lovingly prepared food. Caring, helpful, friendly hosts. There is nothing I could think of that would improve our holiday experience at Beechenhill. Everything surpassed our expectations.
