We stayed 2 nights at the Chateau in August(2 adults, 2 children). From the minute we arrived it felt comfortable and genuine. So much space to roam, delicious food, oozing history and atmosphere. Not a typical hotel by any means; more like being welcomed into a chateau owner's home. Trampolines and ducks a huge hit with kids. Quiet, easy going. Surrounding area beautiful. Thankyou Tim and Magreeth! (and Jo for playing with the boys)

Had a wonderful stay with my family in the gite. Tim and Margreeth were very welcoming and helpful. The gite was very comfortable and perfect for a family of 5. The grounds of the chateau are perfect for walks and the kids loved playing on the trampolines and feeding the ducks and sheep. The chateau offers a perfect location for days out to the coast, see some of the historic sites and very quick to get there from Calais. Would definitely recommend and will look to stay again.

Spent a lovely couple of nights staying at Tim and Margreeth’s beautiful home. They couldn’t have been better hosts and Tim’s tour of the Château was a lovely touch. Elegantly decorated rooms and a delicious breakfast. Can’t recommend a stay here enough...especially if you’re a fan of Escape to the Chateau DIY!!

As you would expect from an ancient chateau undergoing ongoing renervation. This is an experience and not a big standard hotel. Excellent hosts, Tim is an accomplished musical artist, his wife a welcoming presence. Both knowledgeable about the area and hard working and out to please-just ask. We had a great time, shown all around the extensive grounds by the delightful bilingual son of owners. Great time. Unique, so standard question don't really fit.

I had the pleasure of being part of the first ever tour group to visit the charming Chateau Des Lys, as featured in the Channel 4 television show. Margareeth and Tim warmly welcomed us into their home, and ensured that from arrival to departure, every member of the party was looked after, in a warm and friendly manner. Their enthusiasm to restore the Chateau, and pride in its history, was conveyed to us, when taken on a tour by Tim. The continental breakfast was delicious, and we were lucky enough to experience delicious dinners prepared by Tim, followed by entertainment. To have shared their home for 3 days was very special, and I know that from comments overheard on the journey home, many of the party will be following their adventures on the show with great interest, and
