I really can't fault this hotel - clean, comfortable, good service, in a lovely remote location. The views were amazing and it was lovely to feel like part of village life, listening to the bells of the nearby church and having a wander through the streets.

Pleasantly surprised by this comfortable, clean and suitably appointed hotel, well located next to the church in Vivario which is a quaint village with genuine character. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of his way to put our bikes away safely and have them ready again for us to leave in the morning. Dinner was excellent...

Really delicious superb food. The owner was so friendly as well and helpful with the wine list. We felt like we'd discovered a little gem. What I particularly enjoyed was there were more than 1 vegetarian option. (I became an expert on cannelloni au brocciu in Corse!) Particularly the leek fritters were yummy.

Booked for two nights based on other reviewers comments. Room was comfortable, mostly quiet, clean bright bath and encompassed everything we needed. Terrace and window provided a cool breeze and once the pizzeria behind the hotel closed -- a lovely quiet night. The food was of excellent quality and quantity -- in fact the well-priced menu was far more than...

We stopped here for lunch and could see that it was a cut above your local restaurant. The food was very fresh, the soup was delicious and all of the food was very highest quality. The restaurant quickly filled up with people known to the owner, including many local people. They have an excellent selection of wines. The restaurant is...

Stopped for dinner driving between Ajaccio and Bastia and so glad we did. Great decor that made us feel relaxed instantly. Great food and friendly service. Took a business card hoping to go again before we leave at the end of the week or so we can stay there next time in Corsica.

We only stopped here for lunch, but the views, parking, food and service were excellent. The owner was serving and was very helpful and understanding. Looking inside, we could see that this is well looked after. Wish we had found this the night before, but it was getting late and we took the first hotel we found. Next time!

There is a diamond in the middle of Corsica called “U Campanile” in a small village named Vivario between Corte and Ajaccio. Rather than staying a night in Vizzavona you should stop in Vivario. From the village you can hike up to GR20. In Vivario there is not much to do but enjoy the peace and tranquility, the charm and...
