I swore i would never reveal this hidden gem. 5 star quality in amazing surroundings with the nicest owners, team and locals you could ever wish to meet. We have been to these lodges at least three times a year since December 2013. That really says it all!

Stayed in the Ingram lodge for a week, everything about it was perfect - the lodge is very private by the river with fishing, hot tub, games room and the lovely barbecue hut meant we could have a barbecue whatever the weather. We did not want to leave! Intend to return as soon as we can!

For our 4 night stay during february half-term, we stayed in the "Lisleburn" lodge at the Redewater Lakeside Lodges. Everything was perfect, from the booking/payment process, through to the arrival instructions and accommodation. Amazing!! We were greeted by Kelly who gave us a guided tour of the lodge and showed us where everything was and how to operate the sauna and hot-tub. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials (kitchen roll, salt/pepper, foil, cling film washing up liquid, dish washer tablets etc) and the welcome basket was a nice touch, including some prosecco, bread, butter, cheese, biscuits, milk and eggs. There were plenty of crockery and glassware. All appliances worked perfectly. Very private location, plenty of space for parking, nice decked area looking towards the lake. Outstanding! Lovely countryside surrounding the lodge, being in a great location for access to Hadrians Wall, Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne Castle and Holy Island. There is even a fairly decent Chinese take-away and Co-op store approximately 4 miles away. The hot tub was fantastic, the sauna was great (inc nice wet room shower area) and the pool table was a nice touch. There was also a selection of games, cards and books to use. The bedrooms were a good size with lovely underfloor heating in the bathrooms, keeping them nice and cosy in the winter months. Plenty of soft fluffy towels provided with the addition of robes and toiletries. The Sky TV package was great, loads to choose from and watch in the evenings and the WIFI was really good with no issues. We required an airer for our washing, Kelly brought us one within 15 minutes of asking. You couldn't ask for better service! The underfloor heating downstairs was great too keeping the large openplan layout nice and warm. Everywhere was spotless and would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to family and friends. Top notch.
