Loved our stay there - Alison and Johnny are friendly, welcoming and we ate like kings after a tiring day of cycling 60 km. We slept so well and enjoyed a splendid breakfast in the morning - will go back again

Lovely welcome from Alison and Johnny, after a drink we crashed out next to the pool in the quiet garden. Dinner was super, and our room was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was also excellent, the property very attractive - overall a most enjoyable stay.

Alison could not be any more friendly or helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and she will make restaurant reservations for you and suggest places to visit. Her dogs Fudge and Jack made our dog Tia very welcome, and coming from a town environment it was so lovely to see the freedom Tia had to run around and be made...

I loved staying at La Tuilerie - I was only there one night and wish I could have stayed longer. It is a a beautiful house in a stunning and peaceful location. Allison was the perfect host; extremely welcoming she knew exactly what we needed after a long days drive. I felt instantly relaxed, as did my dog Alfie. Fudge,...

A warm greeting from Alison and Jack ,the friendly boxer.Amazing building with a huge round dining table that could seat at least 16, unfortunately we were the only guests ,but had a delicious dinner very well prepared and served along with a super bottle of Bordeaux wine. Slept so well and...

We stayed at La Tuilerie for three nights in the last week of September. We received a very warm from Alison and her two dogs, Fudge and Jack. After the initial hellos, etc her first question was what we wanted to drink, beer, wine, tea, coffee. We plumped for tea with home made biscuits and had a long chat with...

We stayed here for a stopover on route to the South West of France – after a couple of hectic days in Paris this place was perfect – quiet and very relaxing. The building itself is great and Alison was lovely and made us feel very welcome. It was my daughter’s birthday and Alison decorated our room in advance of...

My sons and I were biking the Garonne Canal and arrived hot and exhausted. Alison immediately handed us an ice cold beer, put our food in the fridge and told us to jump in the pool. What a reception! We stayed in the pool from 4 til dinner at 8 and had our picnic dinner by the pool. Sadly for...

We stayed at La Tuilerie in June 2015 while en route to Northern Spain and again on our return, with our labrador, Morse. From the first minute to the last, our stay was great on both occasions - from Alison's genuine welcome to us and to Morse (every bit as enthusiastic). The property is full of character, Alison makes a...
