Located c 5 km from Milicz, the "In the Old Mill" comprises 9 rooms with bathrooms and a small restaurant. Quite spacious, basic equipped rooms offer reasonable comfort for short-term travellers. Those who stay longer may complain about the lack of larger places replacing open wardrobes. Everything is clean and new. The only weak point in our room was the lack of a rubbish bin - but we had a toilet bin in the bathroom. Creaking floors above some rooms on the second floor may slightly annoy those more sensitive. The car park is large enough to accommodate all guests. The entire hotel staff worked hard to provide guests with the comfort of rest.
Breakfast - added - or not - to the room bill, is satisfying. You can choose from: chef's toast, scrambled eggs and sausages (all as hot dishes). Besides: Yellow cheese, cottage cheese, Cracow style sausage, Ham, brawn (local product - hurry up! it goes off quickly). Muesli will please many people who care about the line. There are also a few fruits. To drink: coffee, tea, juice, milk, water. Breakfast served at the customer's convenience.
In the hotel restaurant, everyone will find something good. There is a lot of carp dishes here (remember, in the Barycz Valley are the largest carp breeding ponds in Central Europe), however, there are other fish too. If you do not like bony water creatures, you have a choice of pork chop (no bone), few different kinds of meat, pasta, soup. Good food - we were here a few days and tried everything, including those sold in jars (local carp in aspic with vinegar and others).
Considering the fact that within a radius of several kilometres it is difficult to find something interesting to eat, the restaurant kitchen is breaking records of popularity. This additionally speaks in favour of choosing this place as a starting base.

Having a family event for Easter in Milicz, we booked this hotel for few days. The hotel is located a few km from the center of Milicz, offering good level for the room. For family, you can ask for the family room with 2 sleeping rooms separated and bath room. Good level of service is provided by the owners with nice breakfast. If needed you can also have diner in this place. This place is very nice place if you want to make a ride in the morning, forest is very close.
