Another wonderful skiing holiday in Ruka and this year we tried the Ruka Village Apartment 94 in C block. Fabulous location with views of the Red and black slopes coming into the village. We slept 6 in the apartment but it can sleep 8 using the sofa bed. One bedroom had its own en suite and there was another large...

We stayed here on a 1 week ski holiday, it was so nice compared to some of the over-priced places in the Alps. We booked through Crystal and had a type E apartment, there was only the 2 of us, but the alcove bedroom would probably have been fine for 1 older, or 2 young kids, but it made a...

These rooms are sold by Crystal Ski as the 'Studio B1'. Handily located in the main building with the Colorado restaurant (where breakfast is served) and a very short walk to the slopes and ski bus stop. The rooms had enough facilities to allow you to cook some food - such as crockery, pans, cutlery. There was a 2 ring...

We chose Ruka to be sure of snow and for a better class of apartment for 4 adults than we could get in other European resorts. We weren't disappointed! We had a two bedroom apartment with sauna, hot tub, drying cabinet, two bathrooms, kitchen and lounge/dining area. We booked through Crystal but upgraded to a hot tub room directly with...

I stayed for 5 nights the first week of January with my husband and 2 children aged 13 and 10. We have all skied before and are confident on blue runs. We booked through Crystal and paid £2,555 for flights, self-catering accommodation, ski/boot/helmet hire and lift passes. Our room was on the 4th floor of block A and was much...

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 2 years and would stay there again. The hotel is split into self catering apartments, many with their own drying room and sauna. The rooms are well maintained and have everything in them that you would need or expect to find in a hotel of this rating. The staff...

Stayed here for one week over New Year. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right next to lifts, shops, ski bus stop, shops etc. Everything is literally less than a minutes walk. The rooms are really well equipped with lots of storage space, drier cabinet, fully functioning kitchen with crockery and cutlery although didn't use this other than to...

Stayed at Ruka Village 40 with 2 adults and a kid. It would fit even 6 people but then it starts to be quite tight so I'd say it's best for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very nice apartment with a sauna and a full kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven. It has its own storage room for skis...

Excellent 2 bed apartment. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Sauna great after being on the slopes. Good ski lockers. Minimal walk to the piste lifts. Plenty of activities for none skiers/boarders. Maybe not enough variety for some skiers/boarders. Very family friendly smaller resort. Will be going back and working on the great cross country skiing routes.

We have just come back from our second visit to this gorgeous village... we also returned to the ski Inn apartments... great service..nice clean apartments.. great facilities..we went for the hot tub room although I'm not sure it was worth the money this time round on a cost per hour rating as we only used it for about three hours...

“The E type room we stayed in is ample for a family of 4, would possibly be a bit cramped with 6 which it says it can sleep. The only thing it didn't have was a washing machine, but apart from that everything else was provided. We had a room looking onto the main street and across from one of the bars. There was slightly more noise at the weekend, but not enough as disturb you.”
