I arrived without a reservation. The woman at the front, who was Asian, had to think for a minute before charging me 64 for one night. At least the room was very clean, everything worked, and it's right next door to the gas/mcdonald's/store complex. The proximity to the railroad tracks and freight trains traveling through may be an issue to...

When we travel we call a couple hours ahead and we check 3 or 4 motels for prices. NuVu But gave us the best deal and said they would accept AARP. When we got there the front desk was a different person a woman who would not honor the price quoted or the AARP discount and we didn't have much...

My wife and I were traveling across the country from the Coast to our home in West Virginia along the Gorge and needed a place to stay for the night. Nu Vu was recommended by a friend after multiple hotels in Hood River had been booked out for the Labor Day weekend Holiday. We secured a room and had gotten...

I got a good room one night heading to walla walla, it was clean, medium size and safe feeling. I come back to head to Seattle area, and stop to rest before driving, smelly and full of flies. So when booking here, get a room in the back side of the lot and book in advance because they always only...

Parked in the lot, and some "lady" strolls outside and says "you can't park there" in the rudest way. We asked why and she just repeated "you can't park there, you need to leave." Why? "You can't park there only my guests can park there... Well guess what lady. You could have had guests. But we just got in the...

The Nu-Vu Motel is perched on the edge of the Columbia River in the town of Biggs Junction the entry point into Oregon on highway 97 South. This establishment is old and everything has a cheap, flimsy, bare-bones feel to it; unless you are a backpacker you wouldn’t want things to get more basic. But the carpet is new, the...

Biggs Junction Nu-Vu Motel is a small, old motel that has been refurbished. The rooms, while small, are adequate, they are VERY clean and come with a small, empty refrigerator, t.v., and a microwave. The beds are firm, not hard, and quite comfy. The place smells good. this is nowhere close to luxury billeting but certainly fills the bill for...

This place was clean and the price was right. The front desk gal was very friendly. Don't expect coffee in the room or any other amenities but we were very pleased with how clean this place was. Decent restaurant across the street - "Linda's."

The room was clean but small. I have stayed in much worse. Comfortable though very windy outside. Pretty good view.
