We stayed here for a family wedding, we were greeted at the door with very vague instructions and no idea how to use the front door keys etc (it's more complicated than you first think believe me!) the room was very dated and there was evidence of damp and the bathroom sink was coming away and wobbly and there was... Our host, Mick, is an absolute gem, who took our bags up, served us his homemade jam for breakfast, showed us the barrow (prehistoric burial mound) at the edge of the orchard, let our children feed the chooks and was a wealth of local information - but he wasn't at all intrusive. Very comfortable old home, our rooms dated from... More

At £55 per night for a couple B&B 5 mins from Stonehenge. This basic guesthouse is good value. Beds are comfortable, cereals and toast for breakfast., served with a large selection of home made jams from fruit grown in the grounds. Water is from a well on the property, and chickens roam in a fenced off area to the front... More

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at this B & B. We received a warm welcome and had access to lots of tourist info. We stayed in a lovely room that had all of those extra things that one might need when travelling. The conservatory was a lovely place to have breakfast and enjoy watching the birds at the... More

I could not thank the owners more for their hospitality during my stay at the Scotland Lodge. After arriving late on the back of a tow truck due to a blown out tyre they could not have been more helpful providing me with the help i needed to get back on the road. Lovely room, lovely breakfast and the wonderful... More

We stayed here before and after doing the Avebury to Stonehenge walk and were too tired to go out for food. The owner couldn't have been more helpful in organising a take away for us!! Plus they helped out with getting the car back on the road the next day. A really lovely house and a really really lovely welcome.

A well run establishment, with some nice facilities. Well placed if you're looking to visit Stonehenge or any of the other English Heritage sites in the area.

Scotland Lodge is very close to Stonehenge and Salisbury. It is a very cosy B&B with clean rooms and comfortable amenities (tea & coffee, common room pool table, linen and towels etc.). The owners are friendly and serve a great breakfast in the morning. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Firstly, I would have to say it is not that easy to find for the first time. Having said that, the room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The country side, the gardens and the birds certainly make this a treat. The traffic noise (for most of the night) is really it's only negative. The English breakfast was lovely... More
