We needed a nice quiet weekend away and that’s what we got! The cottage is very rustic, but comfortable and clean. Views were fantastic, saw lots of wildlife! The kitchen isn’t great for cooking - only 2 burners and a toaster oven, but there is a BBQ! Appliances in the kitchen

We LOVED this place although some wouldn't - f you're looking for luxury don't stay here. What's appealing about this place is its laid back attitude, fantastic location and basic accommodation. It has a sense of wildness mixed in with the native tradition and First Nations

Check in was efficient .Our room was spacious and opened to a tiny patio where we could enjoy coffee in the morning and watch all the activity happening at sea . The entrance is spectacular and resembles a wonderful gathering place in First Nations style .It is really lovely .

Can't believe how little we paid for this hotel. The room was a god size, very clean & comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but did eat in the restaurant both evenings of our stay which was good. Can't fault it & we would definitely stay here again.

I want to thank you for staying with us. I am also pleased to hear that you enjoyed your dining with us. I am very sorry for the power outage and that we were unable to get it restored quickly. I am also sorry that I was not there when you checked out as I would have wanted to make an adjustment on your invoice. I will ask the Front Desk Clerks to have guests contact me direct on decisions for discounts. I look forward to hearing from you so that I can get your credit card details for a refund of a portion of your stay. Kind Regards, Helen Chickite General Manager helenchickite@capemudgeresort.bc.ca
