The resort looks a bit tired and run down. In September 2023 the spa was still closed; the service at the Mooring's Cafe for breakfast a joke and the cleanliness of the cabin rather sub-standard. Definitely not worth the $$.

We have previously stayed at Poet's Cove on our sailboat. We decided to spend our anniversary this year in one of their hotel rooms. Exceptional view. Friendly staff. An enjoyable experience. We would visit again.

My husband and I rented one of the cottages with private hot tub. The only reason we went there. Everything was a disaster. Check in was terrible. We were early so had to wait for our room. Not a big deal but we were forgotten about. Then the hot tub didn't work properly so we couldn't use it for a day. No apology. No discount. No response to my queries. The cabin has stained furniture, a bed like a hammock. Very overpriced for the condition of the property. That and the expensive ferry make this a destination not worth the effort.

I enjoyed my stay at the Poets Cove Resort Resort! The rooms are clean, but could maybe need a little touch up - the interiour is not the newest. The beds are very comfy and the staff was amazing! The Poets Cove Resort is located n South Pender Island - a little far off from the main things on (North) Pender Island.

This place is huge, but scattered around a very large site, so not overwhelming. The units and main building look out to the bay and its marina. Our unit, a townhouse, was a two-bedroom unit, with a kitchen, powder room and living/dining room on one floor and the two bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is compact, but fully equipped. The furniture is nice, and there is a deck off the living room and a fireplace in the living room. All very clean and modern. The bedrooms are very spacious, and each has its own full bathroom and deck with patio furniture. There is a breakfast sandwich place on site, and the pub/restaurant is excellent. Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. A great place to stay!

Came here on a knitting retreat with 40 other knitters. I loved it. The staff were great and the food was wonderful. I highly recommend the cottages if you are wavering. The rooms were clean and comfy. The views were spectacular with the light changing all the time.

amazing facility, wonderful pools, excellent food... wonderful for pets, resort area very pet friendly the staff were exceptional - specially Piper at front desk our second visit to Poets Cove - shall definitely return with our furry friend

Excellent location , beautiful, very clean and nicely decorated facility, friendly staff. fantastic place for a family or single person vacation. We have seen lots of wildlife including family of the sea otters. This island still offers very relaxing atmosphere and food was delicious

Incredible location with a lovely room which has a balcony overlooking the small marina and harbour with the islands layered in the distance. Beautiful Gulf Islands in BC. A good restaurant with a chef and two pools available.

Great location, shame that the resort has become run down and dirty. We found a pair of soiled underpants hidden behind the vanity in our room! Will not return until the owners renovate and restore the resorts previous good name.
