Lovely spot, way overdone resort to the point of tacky ostentatiousness. While there, we learned that the owners are suing the neighbouring village because they don't want them to build a racetrack. Not a fan of unethical businesses and won't be patronizing this place again.

Dear LaN0mada, I'm sorry to read that you were unhappy with your recent visit to the Resort. Contrary to your review, we have many guests that don't share you sentiments. You will find many guest reviews stating they absolutely love the Tuscan style, and modern yet simple decor of the Resort. If you feel its ostentatious now, you should have seen what it was like back in the early 90's! Perhaps some of our loyal, long standing guests could share some pictures of how the old Aerie Resort used to look before we purchased it and revitalized this iconic property. Of the 140 Million Reviews posted annually on Trip Advisor, i'm disappointed to see that you chose to write hearsay about another business on our review page. I must politely suggest that you share you comments on a more appropriate forum the next time. Respectfully, Alexander Fischer-Jean

We had the most amazing stay! We took advantage of the new years 2 night special they had on and are SO happy we did. The room was cozy and perfect for our needs. Bed was extremely comfortable and the view was TO DIE FOR! We only wish there was a small couch instead of two chairs as seating! The 5 course dinner on new years eve was one of the best we've had and our server, Ashley, was awesome. Very professional, friendly and provided amazing service for quite a few of our meals! The manager, Alexander, went above and beyond and was so kind to try to help me track down some Tylenol after I forgot to pack my own. The only thing we wished differently was that the pool was a bit warmer! That is more preference however and must be lovely and refreshing in the warmer months! Thank you Villa Eyrie for being so accommodating to us and our two large dogs, we will be back!!

Stopped in for Brunch while I was traveling home. It was fine but staggering expensive. My bill was 105.00 for brunch and 1 drink just for myself! The restaurant had a omelet station with no one there to run it. The menu stated crab legs but there were just a few on the platter. Shameful! Nice view though.

Dear Eileen J, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent dining experience. I'm sorry you were unhappy with the price point of our New Years Day Brunch Buffet. We did have a chef at the omelet station for the entirety of service, and i'm sorry you didn't get a chance to meet her. The king crab legs were extremely popular with diners and we underestimated how quickly they would be consumed. I'm sorry you passed through the buffet before our chefs could replenish the seafood selections. I'd like the opportunity to speak with you in person, in hopes of convincing you to return and try some of our other menus. If you could contact me at your convenience I would be happy to personally take care of your reservations for you. You can reach me at 250-856-0188 ext: 7817 I look forward to speaking with you soon. Kind Regards, Alexander Fischer-Jean Resort General Manager

Fabulous resort. Had a dinner meeting and stayed overnight. The meal was over the top. Asked the waiter to bring us whatever he felt, could not have asked for a better experience. Chef came out to see how everything was. Fantastic service right from check in to check out, spa included. Nice new rooms, outstanding views. Extremely professional staff throughout

You can’t beat the view from Villa Eyrie! It’s stunning! We enjoyed brunch at the Villa’s Restaurant on Nov 30. My friend and I had Eggs Benedict with wild mushrooms and my husband had the burger! Everything was delicious. The service is just what you would expect from an establishment of this calibre ... friendly, helpful and spot on.
