We stayed one night in the new section on the bottom level away from the road. No road noise, but a bit from the folks in the room above. Very comfortable and well thought out. Bed was great and the room was good sized. Wi-fi was strong. Kitchen was equipped with enough for a light meal or breakfast. Front office gal was awesome - so friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for two nights. The rooms are not carpeted so you can hear everything above you. On the first night, the guests above us did not seem to sleep and were walking around in hard-soled shoes, moving furniture, and bouncing/dropping objects all night (even at 1am and 4am). Not sure what they were up to but did not see any children and they did not seem to be tourists. We asked to move to a different open room for the second night but the management would not let us. Fortunately, they at least may have talked to noisy guests because it quieter the second night (at least between 10pm-6am). Other than the noise, the rooms are basic but clean. The location was good within walking distances of places to eat. We especially enjoyed the Raven Lady food truck across the street and Zoe's Bakery and Cafe a couple of blocks away.

From the moment when we phoned and made the reservation to when we checked out we had nothing but exceptional service from Leah and her amazing staff. When you walk into the room it was very crisp and clean. You can tell that's its been updated recently. I myself work in a hotel and have done everything from housekeeping to where I am now which is working at the front desk. I am very picky when it comes to the cleaniness of the room. It's rare to find room that has no flaws the room was perfect. When I come back to the west coast I will definitely be staying there again. If you ever have a chance to visit Ucluelet, just don't drive on by this motel pop in and stay awhile.

We would definitely stay here again. The renovation is really nice and the beds were super comfy. Very clean, great amenities and a really good location. Our only complaints were the noise and the lack of cross ventilation. The noise from others in the motel, mainly above us and then also some guys (sounding very drunk) at 3am made me glad I could put in some earplugs. It would also have been nice to open the windows more and/or have a window in the front of the unit other than the bathroom that we could allow air in. It had cooled down quite a bit in the evening but the room was still very hot. Despite that, I would still recommend this motel!

This is a basic motel that looks like it was recently updated. Linens were good and bed was comfortable. We only stayed overnight but check in and out was easy. Easy access to restaurants. Good value for the price.
