Spent two nights on a quick getaway trip with family. The rooms are exactly as described and are very comfortable with lots of space, nice balcony, good beds and a decent bathroom. You find the traditional mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Kudos for the extraordinary wifi service. I had to attend a meeting and I felt like I was in the office. The buildings look rustic and some of the areas, although charming, look a bit rundown. Two minor issues do not let me give it full marks: the room temperature is on the low side with not too much you can do to make it warmer. Linked to that, the room has a fireplace but there is no logs or implements to turn it on. The second would take care of the first but it didn’t happen. Also, note that there is very little on the way of office or hotel staff. We didn’t need it but some people may feel uncomfortable about it.

Finally a hotel where they allow you to bring your dogs and it’s not filthy it’s clean it’s beautiful the operations manager was so kind and gracious with us. We will definitely be back. Absolutely love the old school fishing resort. In the morning you wake up to the sound of sea lions and fishing boats and it’s got a stunning view

A beautiful room with a view of the Marina in Ucluelet, plus a balcony. The layout made it feel like home rather than hotel room. Two comfy queen beds and a large bathroom. Quiet and close to restaurants and amazing hikes. We'll be back 😊

This hotel is the best. The service provided by Austin at the front desk was amazing. They love the ocean. They love helping people. Can’t thank them enough. We so enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and always a warm smile for people staying. Again thank you Austin you are one of a kind.

Don’t stay unless you have to. We really wanted to see tofino and this was one of the few options left for this summer and we wished we just skipped this part of our trip. When we got into our room it had a horrible smell of what might’ve been a mix of wet paint and cigarettes, it was so strong that even my kids asked what that was. Thankfully after opening the front door and balcony it aired out. Used the washroom and I noticed they painted the ceiling but made no effort to try and keep paint off the tiles and the trim was covered in white spackle so this lead me to wonder what upkeep was like if they could be this sloppy. The beds were decent but definitely not nice. When we packed up to check out is where I really feel disgusted, I was doing a final look around for kids toys and that’s when I noticed how nasty the floor and baseboard heaters were. The pics will speak for themselves. For $325 night this place is a rip off.

Great loft-like hotel room! The lodge clearly has been renovated a few years ago: new bathroom, clean carpets, great beds, small fridge and microwave (no plates or cutlery available). Nice view over a small harbor and a great starting point to explore Ucluelet and Tofino

We visited this lodge 10 years ago and it was pretty decent. This recent visit in July 2022 we were very disappointed in how this lodge and the rooms have slipped in quality. The rooms upon opening them had a musty smell. We had to keep the windows open all night to air it out. The bathroom had some mold around the shower and bathroom moldings. The positive is that this lodge is centrally located and is in a nice location. We will not return to the place in the future.

I had specifically requested a room with a great view (like a corner room with more windows), spacious, and if a room with a view of the marina was available, to please put us in that room. We were given a lower level room with no view of the harbour. The “garden” view was green plants/weeds, and hardly any flowers if any. Our beds were quite hard, the tv barely worked, the hair dryer was broken, our key card didn’t work, no complimentary breakfast… for the price we paid, I feel like we got completely ripped off. The staff weren’t very professional either and were unavailable at checkout. Would not recommend this place to visitors coming from out of town - go for one of the better places even if it’s a bit more money.

My wife and I were very impressed and beautiful and comfortable there, although we stayed for just one night on the recommendation of a friend. I am particularly grateful to the manager, Catalino for his kindness. Next time we travel to Tofino, we will stay there again.
