A very unique lodge with high ceiling room. Very clean, tidy, spacious inside and relaxing on the balcony. My husband, my daughter and I had a wonderful get away last week with Tanya and Scott's hospitality. The lodge is located within 10 mins to restaurants and next to the Pacific Rim Trail. With the private beach, campfire is fun at... More

Lovely, clean room with a beautiful view. Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. We brought cold meats, assorted cheese & fruit, as there is no stove in the room. The bed was very comfortable & the floors were heated. We had a nice fire down by the water at night, went for a little hike on the Pacific Trail just off... More

A beautiful lodge in a wonderful setting, so peaceful & serene. As we relaxed on our balcony overlooking the small cove, deer wandered up to say hello, and we went to sleep to the sound of waves gently lapping. The suite was very comfortable & private, with the facilities for us to make our own breakfast & snacks. Tanya &... More

The He-Tin-Kis Lodge shares its name with the nearby park and coastal walking trail. It is very quiet and is just a ways out of town. They have their own small private beach with tide-pools, paddle boards, and they will provide wood and kindling for a seaside bonfire, if you wish. Our room was clean and spacious, had a nice... My wife and I stayed here for four nights and were very pleased with the accommodation. This place has character and I mean that in the most positive way. From the long driveway divided by a large cedar to the dense rain forest on all sides, it's a beautiful spot. Built by the owners who live on site, it only... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the He-Tin-Kis Lodge. Scott and Tanya were very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable and that all our needs were met. We loved the location and the views! I will definitely recommend their lodge to friends and family and consider staying there again during one of our stays in... More

This small family run accommodation is amazing! Our room was very well appointed but what really sells it is the view over the bay to the sea from the balcony and the fact it is situated very close to the coastal trails. We were very well looked after and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet... More

The best place I have ever stayed the serenity of the rooms and views are spectacular. I little bit of heaven on earth. The owners are amazing and also have the Barkley Cafe that brews the best coffee I've had. The breakfast at the cafe is awesome. It's a must do.

We already booked the room in Summer to go Storm Watching in November, and it all played out perfectly. We were received with lots of hospitality and Tanya took all the time to explain everything and point out all attractions and activities in the area. We stayed in the Luxury suite for 4 days with a a view over the... More
