The He-Tin-Kis Lodge is a small, family owned and run, secluded oceanfront property, with self-check in and private en-suite amenities. It offers 3 beautiful, self-contained, oceanfront suites with spectacular Southwest facing ocean views. Privately situated in a preserved, old-growth rainforest, perched 60 feet above the ocean, in a quiet, pristine bay. Located near the town center, Terrace Beach, He-Tin-Kis Park, and the Wild Pacific Trail. Each suite has a private entrance, connected by a common corridor, and offers private oceanfront balconies. West Coast Contemporary Post & Beam Design. En-suite bathrooms. Mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster & dishes in each room. Surrounded by nature and wildlife. A one of a kind West Coast Retreat. Adult oriented. Maximum 2 people per suite. No smoking. No pets. Owners live on site. Owner/Caretaker available on request.

As we drove down the driveway, we were greeted by this enormous, beautiful tree in the middle of the driveway. They’ve built the driveway around it and it is beautiful. We opened our vehicle doors and could hear the waves from the ocean. We arrived early to check out the lodge and were pleasantly surprised our room was ready early. Upon entering our room, you could see the ocean from the patio. It was so breathtaking! The room was supplied with everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The lodge is a nice location, far enough away so it was very quiet and peaceful and close to the lighthouse loop (a nice walking trail). We walked into town each night for dinner and it took about 20 minutes each way. When we walked home in the evening, we felt safe. The lodge has a private beach where you can have a fire if you wish. There were chairs and a sup board if you desired. I am new to writing reviews and upon staying at this lodge I decided to create an account and review it because this place deserves a five star recommendation. The He-Tin-Kis Lodge is on a beautiful quiet harbor and fits right into its majestic surroundings. Immaculately kept and charming ceiling to floor it is perfect for any getaway. My wife and I spent a few nights of our honeymoon here and it was very romantic.

Our experience at the He-Tin-Kis lodge was exceptional and excellent. The view of the beach was amazing, the lodge was clean and classy, we especially loved the bed, it was comfortable and bedding was very soft. We slept like never before! A big thank you to our accommodating and friendly hosts!
