My girlfriend and I recently stayed at C&N and as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by Andy the hostel manager who was extremely friendly and helpful with finding our way around the area ! He even made us all fresh salmon which was a bonus !! I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a... More

This hostel is great value for money. Very clean with powerful showers and comfortable beds. The garden and communal areas are great with plenty of room for everyone to cook and chill out in the evenings. Andy the manager is very friendly and has great advice on where to go and what to do each day, best atmosphere in any... More

This hostel has a very nice location with a huge garden which we used to build a campfire! There are a couple of rules to follow such as: no shoes in the house, not too much noice after 11pm etc. The floor was pretty sticky on the staircases and in the kitchen which is rather not nice to walk on,... We stayed here for two nights while traveling on a shoestring budget. It was my husband's first time in a hostel and was apprehensive about staying here. I'm happy to say he enjoyed our stay, and my dreams of backpacking the world live on. The manager was very kind and super helpful with his recommendations of local businesses. The kitchen... More

I had a very good time there. Especially with all the amazing people passing through. The property has a lot beauty with a lake behind and wild deer that visit often. The hostel is kept clean. The helpers are Superfly Cool. Functional blinds in the women and mens dorms could be added to help keep out the light. I dont... More

Very nice little hostel run by the most chilled dude, Andy. Very friendly place and Andy is full of info and advice about the area and activities. Hostel consists of a girls dorm, a guys dorm and three private rooms. The bottom story has the kitchen/dining area, as well as the showers and laundry. Outside there is some seating areas,... More

We were lucky to secure a private room with just a few days booking notice before the Easter weekend, and at a great price! The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we needed. Additionally, Andy was very helpful and accommodating in allowing us to charge our electric car on an outlet on the outside of the... More

Location is good and it is clean, but for this price, you would expect a decent bed. You could feel the springs through the matrass. Curtains were not present (just some pinned fabric not long enough to cover the windows) and showers next to the living room/kitchen. Bad choice for this money

I wasn't backpacking from countries to countries or province to province in Canada but just travelling in British Columbia. I stayed at many hostels in the past when I travelled the world. I had a great stay at C&N Ucluelet. Good price for backpackers ( affordable ), basic facilities but very clean, quiet ( peaceful ), close to nature &... More

C&N is a very good hostel. Andy does an excellent job of making you feel at home and offers a great deal of help on local things going on. Behind the hostel is an amazing set-up with a great view of the water. Facilities, bedrooms, and people were all great and I would definitely stay again!
