I recently stayed at the Frobisher Inn on a business trip and would recommend this hotel. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located, there is a grocery store/pharmacy attached and the staff are fantastic. The rooms are also comfortable and updated and have nice amenities in the bathroom. My room also had a fridge, safe and microwave. However, my room needed cleaning, particularly vacuuming. The wifi is also limited (which is the way it generally is in Iqaluit) and, if you need to work, you will likely need to buy extra (2 GB costs $10).

I am a frequent guest at the Frobisher Inn and the staff always do the most to make sure I have an enjoyable stay. One of the supervisory staff Jen is always so friendly and kind.
They are great for last minute bookings, and if they don’t have a room for you they will work hard to help you find one. The rooms are always clean, and cozy and the attached businesses have everything you need close by (Booster Juice, Pharmacy, Grocery, Restaurants, Bar, Cafe, Movie Theatre - all without stepping foot outdoors)
I would definitely recommend the Frobisher Inn!

Stayed here September 09th-17th 2022. Decent hotel. Chronically short staffed like everywhere else. Front Desk and Housekeeping Staff work long hours, so if you need your room cleaned, make arrangements with the Front Desk.
A shout out to Leighann at the Front Desk! Halfway through my week, I was locked out of my room. The lock on my door malfunctioned. Leighann went to check out my lock and she couldn't get it unlocked. As it was 11:00pm, she called management and they quickly solved the issue and fixed the lock on my door. Thanks Leighann for helping me out! Overall it was a decent stay. Unfortunately breakfast isn't available unless you are there on a Sunday.

Just got back from a month of working in Nunavut and stayed at the Frobisher Inn, Iqaluit for two nights at both ends. The rooms were clean and comfy but it was the service that gets the place five stars, especially Jen & Daniel at frontdesk. When it was time for me to go to the airport the hotel’s shuttles service was busy so they gave me a taxi voucher which saved me the cost.
Hotel’s guest WiFi is good and strong and reliable which is a blessing after you have been in the small communities. The restaurant is good but expect Nunavut prices.

I travel to Iqaliut a lot and the Frob is always the place to stay. They have two restaurants and a bar all within walking distance. A movie theatre, grocery store and a small gym all in the hotel. Local pool is only a 15 min walk away and hospital is right across the street. Everything you need for business or vacation!
Tanungin si Anna sa front desk. Siya ay napaka-kaalaman at lubos na nakakatulong sa lahat ng mga bisita

The Frobisher Inn is pleasant place to stay. Staff are very friendly and professional to make your stay comfortable. With it being -40 with the wind it is nice to have a restaurant, coffee bar and pub in one place. If you desire there is even a movie theatre in the complex. If you want to venture out cabs are available right outside. On check out Anna was a ray of sunshine making a person want to come back

Didn't have much choice on hotels in Iqaluit so decided on this one even though it was nearly $300 per night. The room was nice and big however we faced a brick wall with windows. Not the best outlook and had to keep drapes drawn all the time. I hate that. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean, however, the bathroom looked tired and needed up dating. All in all the hotel was ok, but just ok. Good food in the Frob. Expensive of course. Also good food in the pub next door. This hotel is nothing special and ticked me off as no heat in the room and had to get another heater. Water was shut off and people on the front desk didn't know about it at first, nor was bottled water for the rooms offered as it was a boil advisory in effect. They should have known all this.

Dear pendrell, Thank you for your review. I was pleased to read you found our staff friendly and our food and beverage was good. We have noted your comments regarding the bathroom needing updating, and I am pleased to be able to inform you we have a refurbishment of the guestrooms and bathrooms starting sometime in 2024. Unfortunately the City of Iqaluit had a planned 'shut off' during your stay. This was a last minute emergency and we had signage on the front desk and on all the floors. I am pleased to tell you this was resolved within the timeframe given by the City. I hope we have the opportunity to serve you again in better circumstances. Kind regards, Nicholas Carn General Manager

Ten days for business at the Frob. A few hiccups with reservation but Jen, Anna and the team took care of everything! They are amazing given how incredibly busy they are! Always a smile and willing to help.
The hotel itself is older and needing a refresh in many places. My room was quiet and had had some work done. Quite comfy. Other colleagues had a difference experience.
Services at the hotel and location are great - especially when you are there for business have limited free time. Restaurants , pub, coffee shop, booster juice and groceries - all on site!
Thanks to the team for supporting our team’s stay.

The Frobisher Inn was great base camp for our adventure in Iqaluit. The room was extremely spacious and clean, and provided breathtaking views of the bay and town. It featured all standard amenities along with a large jacuzzi, which was lovely after hours of hiking.
The location of the hotel couldn’t be any better, being located steps to numerous stores, museums, and restaurants. The restaurants located on-site were among the best food we tried while in Iqaluit!
What made our stay very special was the remarkable staff! Everyone was so great, answering all questions, providing helpful tips, helping us arrange taxis, etc. we had amazing interactions with Jimma, Michelle, Anna, Marjorie, Sharon, and Leigh Ann. Thank you all for a simply amazing terrific experience!
