We recently stayed at Twiggleberries for a work function. It is a nice home however the location is a bit far from the harbour which was a challenge for us as we didn't have a car and there is no taxi service on the island. The owner did drive us back to the ferry when we were departing but it... More

Jan is the sweetest lady ever! I've stayed at twiggleberries twice and on both occasions I've had a really excellent time. The breakfast is awesome and my friend loved the varied tea selection! Couldn't help herself make like a gazzilion cups! :) beds are comfy and the rooms are cosy. I felt like at home and the views are really... More

We visited Jan's for the weekend for a friend's wedding and were really happy with our stay. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful: fruit salad, yogurt, granola and delicious bran muffins. The house is set in a very pretty garden (which is almost deer-proof!). The location is a bit remote if you don't have a car, but it is close enough... More

Had a wonderful time exploring the Island. Jan was a great host, tried the bran muffins, will have to come back and try the croissants. We stayed in the Alpine Room, amazing view to wake up to. Check out the Snug Cafe , candy store and Bowen Island Pub.

We stayed at Twiggleberries last weekend for a wedding and it was great! The place was clean, quiet, and wonderfully charming. Our host, Jan, was lovely and made us feel right at home. She makes a fabulous fruit salad and good cup of coffee - just the ticket after a long night. Don't miss her fabulous fresh croissants and bran... More

We recently stayed in the Annex Cottage for 3 nights. It has two very comfortable bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room area is very spacious and there is a large deck which was a great place for our toddler to play. It even had a kiddy car for entertainment! Jan, our host, was very accommodating and arrived... More

I hesitated after reading some of the reviews, but am very glad I decided to give this lovely place a try. Jan is a wonderful host, and her home is beautiful. The gardens are delightful, and the deck overlooking is a great place to snuggle with a book and the resident kitty. The Garden room with attached ensuite is comfortable... More

I stayed here for one night on the long weekend. Jan, the owner picked me up from the ferry as I was on foot (15-20 minute walk). She's a wonderful host. The house is on a high elevation surrounded by trees and wildlife. The hot tub is great! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely views. Pancakes for breakfast... More

Adding some photo's so you can see for yourself. Don't come here without a car / bikes unless you enjoy hiking. Also no taxi's on Island. Great friendly couple, but they could do with employing some help to bring the place back up to speed, and also making life easier for them in the process.

I have read other reviews of this property and agree with many of their comments. Jan is lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Glen is older and not very involved anymore. The food was very good and plentiful. However, the property isn't very clean and we also found cob webs, dead spiders and bugs, dirty fridge, smelly sponge, used soap... More
