What a gorgeous Inn! So tranquil, pretty and beautifully appointed! Lovely public areas and gardens. Our room was spacious and quiet and the bed wonderfully comfortable. A short drive into town for dinner. Donna made us a delicious breakfast before we left. Totally recommend this place whether you are passing through (as we were) or staying in the area longer.
We enjoyed our stay in the Log House Inn. The room (above) was big enough and everything you needed is in the room. Everything is clean and looks cosy. It's not the most modern or updated furniture/bed/bathroom, but there is nothing wrong with it. The host, Donna, was very nice and gave us a warm welcome. She was more than willing to tell us about the area or the B&B. She offered us help for the suitcases if we wanted. The area is nice and quiet and a perfect hangout to spend time in the Whistler's area if you want.
I stoped at this lovely B N B on my 4 day trip around the Fraser River Loop. The owner, Donna, is a delight. Professional, helpful and an excellent tour guide. Rooms are beautiful and well attended. Breakfast if you want it. All of Donna's recommendations for food, touring were spot on perfect. I will visit again.
After mistakenly booking a hotel in Pemberton, Australia (I know, right?) we came to this beautiful town without accommodation and drove to the Log House Inn. We were greeted warmly by Donna and Saad, even if they did have to laugh at me just a little bit. Despite it being late in the day, Donna offered us a beautiful room and we spent some time sitting in the sunshine in their gorgeous backyard. The home is a beautiful log structure, built to be a B & B. Every detail has been thought of. Our room was spacious, beautiful (with a view out to the garden) and we had our own (albeit small) bathroom. Love that the sink & mirror is separate! The bed was super comfortable and all the linens were beautiful, high quality white. Breakfast in the morning was amazing and we even enjoyed a few minutes of sitting in the guest living room just soaking in the ambience of the house. Donna is very helpful with surrounding attractions and we enjoyed our morning chat with her. I feel like we have discovered a spot that we will come back to again and again!…
This is our second time visiting The Log House Inn and definitely it is in our hearts. This place is cozy, very well located and Donna is an amazing host. I hope to come back soon to Pemberton and to spend more time.
We had a lovely stay at the Log House Inn. The accommodations were very cozy and clean. I am celiac and the hostess was very thoughtful and went above and beyond to serve a gluten free and delicious breakfast safe for me. Location was great too and walking distance from the the town centre. The suite was quiet but the walls were a bit thin so we could occasionally hear the other guests talking in their rooms. Overall we had a great stay.
Definitely one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at in the recent years. Perfectly clean bathroom, spotless carpets; thick spa towels, bathrobes, nice quality complimentary toiletries including soaps, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner; very comfortable bed; well working, fully adjustable air conditioner in the bedroom. We had a room with en-suite bathroom which was great. The whole lodge is nicely decorated (mountain cabin style) with large living and dining rooms shared by the guests. Although all the rooms were rented out at the time of our three night visit there were no issues with noise and we never felt crowded. The host, Donna, is super friendly, hospitable and flexible (putting up with us showing up for breakfast just a touch late with a smile on her face). She offered great advice on what to see and what to do in the region and in addition to serving very nice breakfast provided delicious, home-made afternoon treats (brownies were our favourite). We were welcome to use the fridge and there was unlimited supply of tea/coffee available throughout the day. As we were attending a family wedding in the area the day after our arrival at the Log House, our son drove into Pemberton in the morning and Donna very kindly agreed for him to join us for breakfast and welcomed him to use our room to refresh and change before the ceremony. When at the check out time we reminded her of the extra services and offered to pay for them, Donna insisted that it was not necessary and did not charge us a penny more. We had a truly enjoyable stay and look forward to staying there again when our travels take us to Pemberton.…
Beautifully appointed bedroom, such comfy beds. Very clean, lots of space. Quiet overnight, slept really well. Great breakfasts, plenty to eat and good coffee. I liked the big kitchen that guests are welcome to use. Wished we could have stayed longer, two nights was not enough. Pemberton is lovely, and Donna is a knowledgeable and interesting host.
Yes, it's true that the house and rooms are quite attractive and well-appointed, and that the breakfast is fine (though a bit sparse on quantity for my taste, and the hostess a bit curt). My beef is that the price for a room is quite high. This is a result of the spillover effect from pricey and chic Whistler to the south. Travellers who are price-conscious or watching their budget may wish to give this lodging a pass.
The Log House Inn is a lovely retreat - rooms are extremely comfortable, well appointed and filled with thoughtful touches. The owners are lovely people and truly a delight to interact with. While Pemberton is a small town, there is more than enough to do, see and eat. The area itself is superlative - Whistler is easily accessible and there are many more beautiful drives and hikes around Pemberton. Modern amenities were easily available despite being in gorgeous natural surroundings. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay there!
