If your out touring around in your RV and need a spot to spend a couple of days to recharge your batteries; look no further. Conveniently located between the Rocky Mountains and Calgary, the Bow Rivers Edge is a winner. It's 35k to Calgary's city center; 15k to the Trans Canada and about 60k, give or take, from Canmore making... More

Getting to Banff/Canmore, Kananaskis Country, Calgary and the many little towns along the Cowboy Trail-Hwy 22 is very easy on the eye! I hope you will have... More

We only stayed 2 nights but will be returning in September for a slightly longer stay. The staff at arrival were pleasant and efficient and got us checked in without any difficulty. The campground is located, as the name suggests on the banks of the Bow River, it is a very nice campground with wide, level, gravel and grass sites.... More

Hi Dave, Thank you so much for your excellent review and I am so glad that you enjoyed the park. I did see you walking your dog one day as you passed in front of the office and saw how well cared for and well groomed he is. I am glad you are coming back and maybe I will have... More

We booked this purely unseen and only based on reviews. It is a really nice park along the Bow River and close enough to Calgary and Banff, depending on your desires. While this park is huge, each site has privacy and shade Sites are level and roomy-no worrying about where to park your vehicle if you're towing. Unlike many of... More

Hi Cindy, I am so glad you enjoyed the park and your stay with us. Our location is a plus for all the amenities in the area plus out the back door is Banff, Kananaskis Country and the Cowboy Trail. Calgary is also close and especially at Stampede, it is a plus! Our dog visitors enjoy being here too and... More

Great place to stay a few nights and explore the area. Sites are level, everything is clean, has fire pits and firewood sales, nice playground for kids, amazing off leash dog park along the river that is accessible right from the RV park, close to shopping and restaurants and far away enough from the highways and railways that you don't... Hi Mark, Thanks for your great review of Bow RiversEdge! About the pool, it is coming in 2017. That big building next door, Spray Lakes Sawmills Sports complex is building a pool and curling facility. It will be open next summer if you visit again! We stayed here for 2 nights in our Rv. Close to restaurants and shopping, yet you are out of the hustle and bustle of Calgary. No freeway noise. Clean campground. You feel like you are out in the country. Nice area for walking yourself and with pets. Flat nice roads. No potholes. Private with hedges. Playground and basketball court for... More

We will never stay here again. We are reporting them to Good Sam as well. The woman in the office was the most cold, "I dont give a dang, just give me your money" human on this earth and my first impression of Canada was not so good. The campground itself was clean. Perhaps it was all the rain. The... More

I called earlier in the day to say we had run into some delays and would be able to arrive until close to 11pm. They said their gates close at 11 and I asked them to wait for us. We arrived at 11:03pm and the employee at the gate said we were too late and he wouldn't let us in.... More

Good morning, I am sorry that you were not able to access our campground the other night. Our gates close a 11 pm and arriving after that time cannot alter the gate closing as it is on a timed device. We cannot prevent the gate from closing for this reason. I understand that you talked to our Front Desk staff... More

Nice staff, beautiful setting, really clean. Spaces are large, wide and you feel somewhat separated from your neighbors which doesn't happen often in RV Parks, even ones that are more expensive. The only complaint we had was that the staff recommended an RV Mobile Repairman who set an appointment, then never came and was so rude didn't even return our... More
