Stayed at this motel for a week and a half, no weekly rate to be had, they like to use the phrase "it's tourist season" yet this motel always seems to have vacancy, More than half of the duplex receptacles don't work in the room. The cleaning staff are lovely even though there is a language barrier, most of the... More

This stay was good as far as the room is concerned, you get all you need for the basics such as fridge, microwave, clean and the wifi works well. The problem is the price, ended up being 170 dollars per night after tax which is a lot for what you get. We also asked for more face clothes and towels... More

Fell asleep to the sound of gunfire:not.joking. When I asked to get out of my contract clerk said "no one else complained of hearing guns" and that "this hotel has great reviews... " The 1st towel I picked up had 3 different colour stains on it: nasty. Each night people screamed at each other in the next rooms. 130$ with... More

I require clean, affordable accommodation with work travel - and this is hands-down the best Surrey Central has to offer. Much better than Econolodge further south on King Geroge this is clean, no frills (meaning no coffee but yes a coffee maker) no-nonsense practical accommodation. Surrey has a lot of dives on this stretch but if you don't want to... More

I suppose it's less expensive than other places nearby, and it's fairly central... but i came away feeling dirty and wishing I'd slept in my compact car at the ferry terminal. Each room we looked at was a little darker and dingier than the previous. Efforts we made to get our money back for the second night were unaccomodated. We... More

This is an older property with out-of-date furnishings. That being said it was clean and the bed comfortable. The WiFi was good and there are nearby places to eat. Very convenient to the Surrey Hospital but that also brought ambulance sirens during the night. The air conditioning was marginal at best but the room was spacious and adequate for a... More

Tried to book two nights but was told they would call at 10:00am?? We wanted a sleep in after spending all day on ferries. It was late, didn't know where to go, and so we took the room. I didn't sleep well as I was not sure if I would hear the phone. I set my alarm for 9 am... More

Twice we've stayed here. Figured it couldn't have sucked as much as we originally thought. Pessimism gone wrong. If you don't smoke, you will. If you've signed up for non smoking, tough deal. The rooms reek of cigarettes. It's flat out revolting. And you can go ahead and try and speak with the staff up front. They don't care. Heck,... More

We read the range of reviews here and our expectations were pretty low. But we were struggling to get a place to stay and we desperately needed somewhere so we could attend a family funeral. The bad news is the location, especially if you don't have your own transport. It's a very long way from everything and even the Sky... More
