Probably the best seafood I've ever had is right here! And I'm not saying just in Romania! It's all fresh, the portions are quite large and the prices aren't too high. I enjoyed eating here and for sure I would recommend it to someone visiting Sfantu Gheorghe!
Too expensive compared with quality of services they offer. Restaurant is also expensive and the food is very comerciale. My recommendation is to eat in any other place, at the locals! The worst experience ever!
It was nice to be your guest in hotel and restaurant, from 29th to 31st June. It was really relaxing for me, the service was perfect. The room was comfortable and I got a nice view over the Danube. Your austrian R.K.
The room was quite large and OK, however it was a bit spartan and there were hardly any plugs. The room was not particularly great value compared to others on our Romanian trip. The food was again OK, however the service was slow and the staff were dour and not particularly friendly. They seemed to have a bit of a monopoly in the centre of Sf G. For cheaper coffee, beer and wine the café/bar in the garden next to the supermarket is highly recommended. Half litres bottles of beer are 4.5 Lei, what seemed like 200ml glasses of drinkable white wine were and incredible 2 Lei and good coffee was 5 Lei.
In the menu was catfish 300g, polenta 150g , garlic 50g. In the plate was a small piece of fish and a big chunk of polenta not even close to 300, not even fresh before it was grilled. And we paid a latte in plus that we didn't ordered. Never will return !
