This place is highly recommended. Everything about it was great. We arrived early and were greeted warmly. Out room had a view over the water and we could hear the waves and see many birds. The place was very clean, and our room was very large, we stayed in room #9 I believe, downstairs, right out side from the wash...

we were travelling the "ring road" and booked this accommodation ourselves - and not through our travel agent. it could have been much better. clean and warm, but the floors were very creaky and not inducive to a good night's sleep. we did not try the breakfast.

Travelling as a young couple on our 6th night around the ring road of Iceland, we chose Blondous to break up the journey from Myvatn to Snaefellsnes and weren't expecting much. It is a really small town, but exactly what we needed for a quick stop off, we could fill up our car with petrol and even posted our postcards...

Cold welcome, very loud lady, wakes you up early morning and keeps you up until late! Noisy house. Nothing to visit in this very small village. Good thing: close to ocean, arrive late and leave early - the best to do.

The staff were very nice. I enjoyed the beer at the bar and the door handle at the entrance was tops. That's all that I liked. I'm a light sleeper and found that the walls were very thin and the floors very creaky. We were the bedroom beside the bathroom which meant I was awake all night listening to patrons...

I highly recommend to stay in this guesthouse. The girls in charge of it are so nice and welcoming. The rooms are perfect, we had a spacious bedroom facing the sea. Even though the bathrooms are shared, there are several of them and very clean. The breakfast is huge with a lot of choices (several kinds of cheese, hams, cakes,...

The breakfast was amazing! Joint best of my 17 day stay in Iceland. And the staff were welcoming. The view from the room of the sea and beach were good. The shared toilet on the same floor was much in demand but there was another on the floor below, but the view from the same floor toilet was great! I...

We stayed one night in Apartment 1. It's a great place to stay, the suite is large, beds comfortable, and the suite is stocked with kitchenware so you can cook in if you want. Here's a grocery store in town. The only downside was how strongly the water smells of sulphur...not the owners fault, but more of an odour than...
