We decided to sit outside to enjoy drinks and meal in the sun. The experience was spoiled by very drunk customers (should bar staff stop serving if someone is so drunk they can hardly stand??). During our meal the group of very drunk men cursed and seemed to think it was funny to pass wind very loudly. This was all... More

Visited with partner and parents when seeing a show at the nearby barn. Staff were great and very welcoming, rooms clean and inviting. Offered a good selection for breakfast, lovely black pudding! Served with an excellent view. The only downfall was our bedroom being upstairs the bathroom was downstairs with no dressing gowns provided.

We have just spent a weekend at a family gathering on Speyside. Some time off allowed us to enjoy a night's break on our way from home near St Andrews as we headed to the Highland Games at Nethy Bridge. My wife grew up in Finzean near Banchory - so we looked at a night near her old home. We... More

Five mins to be acknowledged when we arrived, an hour for our food order to arrive and side order forgotten, asked twice before received at the end of our main meal & undercooked. Warm cider! Manageress argumentative when discussing our disappointment & threatened with police when told her we shouldn't pay after her attitude. Barman rude. Very disappointing and disgraceful... More

This is our second visit to the feugh side inn and again we were dissapointed. We arrived a 18.15 as requested when we booked over the phone. We arrived at 18.00 and it looked quite busy for a Sunday and looked forward to Sunday dinner. Theclast time we were here at around 1800. The roast beef was finished by 18.30... More

We (party of 10) had an excellent dinner in the main dining room. This is a large room with beautiful views of the Feugh and surrounding hills. The room is bright and airy. It has an access door for handicapped visitors. The toilets are unfortunately not too handy from the main dining room and would be difficult to get to... More

Lovely location, good food and resturant staff pleasent. However would not recomend this for staying overnight, especially on a Saturday. Very noisy from the duke-box in the bar, till 12 o,clock, then folk speaking, singing outside till 12.30/ 1am! On complaining, was told that the room, in which we stayed, was above the bar, and mentioned on web-site, however we... More

We were made very welcome. A very full menu with a lot of my favourites on it. Something for everyone's taste at very good prices. We went for the Specials off the board which was excellent value. I had the lentil soup best I've had for a long time followed by a Chicken Curry which contained lovely big pieces of... More

Our friends had booked us in at the Feughside Inn for a 3 night stay at the end of April and on arrival we received a warm friendly greeting and taken to our room. We had a spectacular river and mountain view and the room although small was very comfortable with a lovely ensuite. At breakfast we had more than... More

I visited this hotel a number of times over a weekend for evening meal, and breakfast, although did not actually stay here (I was staying at the Tor n'a Coile in Banchory). This is a hotel with a typical local pub feel with padded benches in the bar area, and a small selection of draught lagers (no bitters). The bar... More
