This is our second visit to the feugh side inn and again we were dissapointed. We arrived a 18.15 as requested when we booked over the phone. We arrived at 18.00 and it looked quite busy for a Sunday and looked forward to Sunday dinner. Theclast time we were here at around 1800. The roast beef was finished by 18.30... More

We (party of 10) had an excellent dinner in the main dining room. This is a large room with beautiful views of the Feugh and surrounding hills. The room is bright and airy. It has an access door for handicapped visitors. The toilets are unfortunately not too handy from the main dining room and would be difficult to get to... More

Lovely location, good food and resturant staff pleasent. However would not recomend this for staying overnight, especially on a Saturday. Very noisy from the duke-box in the bar, till 12 o,clock, then folk speaking, singing outside till 12.30/ 1am! On complaining, was told that the room, in which we stayed, was above the bar, and mentioned on web-site, however we... More

We were made very welcome. A very full menu with a lot of my favourites on it. Something for everyone's taste at very good prices. We went for the Specials off the board which was excellent value. I had the lentil soup best I've had for a long time followed by a Chicken Curry which contained lovely big pieces of... More

Our friends had booked us in at the Feughside Inn for a 3 night stay at the end of April and on arrival we received a warm friendly greeting and taken to our room. We had a spectacular river and mountain view and the room although small was very comfortable with a lovely ensuite. At breakfast we had more than... More

I visited this hotel a number of times over a weekend for evening meal, and breakfast, although did not actually stay here (I was staying at the Tor n'a Coile in Banchory). This is a hotel with a typical local pub feel with padded benches in the bar area, and a small selection of draught lagers (no bitters). The bar... More

A fairly remote inn but in an attractive setting. a lot of money spent on fixtures and fittings and almost everything worked as advertised/expected. Restaurant very good - see my separate entry. However: The advertised free WiFi only worked reliably in the bar; There was a problem with the pump supplying water to our room and sometimes no water came... More

We stayed in the Feughside Inn earlier this month. We cannot speak highly enough about this Hotel. From arriving, until we left ,the attention we received was 1st class. The owners, Donald and Catherine were so welcoming, as was the Chef, Trevor. Our room was lovely and so was the En-suite, and they were both spotlessly clean. We chose to... More

Booked this hotel for 1 night and although it could do with a slight upgrade my room was massive and very clean. The only issue I had was the night I stayed there was a pool tournament and the guys were being a bit roudy although it all stopped about 11pm Dinner and breakfast were very nice and we had... More
