Didn't stay but did go have dinner there, the food was amazing, just thinking about it makes me want to go back. Fresh and so perfectly Italian. The owners and very kind and interesting people, the kind you would read a book about. Highly recommended.

After having read most of the reviews about this hotel our expectations might have been too high I presume. The bungalow we took did not have sea view (there is only one with sea view and all other where booked) but in the back and with shared facilities. No running water is not a problem for us, but it was...

Directly at the beach of the small fishing village is the Peter Pan lodge - a couple of small bungalows and huts. All are different with lots of individual touches and designs. The more up-scale ones have a private bath (bucket shower), some have beach view and all have a porch to sit outside. The food is simply adorable and...

Getting there: Hop the Anakoa express from Blu Bar in Tulear and ask for the Peter Pan lodge and they will drop/pick you up directly. 100,000 Ar open return available. Residents rates negotiated. Setting: Anakao is a stretch of white sand and twinkling sea. Winds can pick up in the afternoon and the heat is intense, even in low season....

This Italian run place is something you would not expect on the secluded beaches of Anakoa, Madagascar. The owners are very service minded, friendly and always there to help you out. The bungalows are good. The food is exceptional! With fresh fish which comes in every day they create a, hard to top, Italian menu complete with Italian pizzas, which...

We stayed here for seven nights with our three boys, ages 12, 9 and 9. There are a variety of rooms and bungalows and we stayed in two different rooms over the week. The rooms were basic but clean and really good value. The auberge is hip and cool and has a wide variety of travelers who stay here. The...

Dario is the most extravagant and interesting person I have ever met. He runs this place in a very unusual way compare to the other places in Anakao. Me, my sister and my brother in law we had really good time and fun in this place. It's nothing fancy however the atmosphere and the food you can find in this...

Perfect place to be. Planned to stay about three nights, ended up with ten and still had troubles to say goodbye. Dario and Valerio have created a place, where everyone is just like he and she is with a brilliant get together in the evenings, combined with nice food and great vibes. Finally the guys were even a great help...

This place is hard to describe but you can expect the best place to be in South Madagascar. From the moment you step of the boat, you dive into another world, a better one. Dario and Valerio are extremely nice and welcoming persons and very special personalities. It's not only the Italian charisma but also a political place where every...
