Hadthong is the big hotel in Prachuap right on the water and with one of the most beautiful sunrises in Thailand. Food is OK, people and service are great. Rooms are a bit worn but clean and everything works.

Room large enough for 2 of us but bathroom dingy and door rotting away. Shower had plenty of hot water. Good sea view but sea and beach filthy with rubbish. Local people think the sea is a large garbage bin. Aircon worked well. Breakfast was poor. Plump older receptionist was almost ok but young thin one was rude, abrupt, unsmiling...

This hotel made my holiday. Up until staying at the HadThong I had been unsure of my view of Thai accommodation this hotel was really a jewel in a thorny crown. I was very 'British' in a unexpected place. When you walked from the road outside, from the dust, the noise and the sand and into the marble reception area...

We stayed for one week with two small children and loved the place. Fantastic view of the bay. An OK pool, and both laundry service and thai massage on the hotel. The hotel restaurant is not the best, but there are excellent (an inexpensive) ones around the hotel.

This hotel is definitely nothing special, and by North American standards, has definitely seen better days, but you're not in North America people! It's a little overpriced for what it is but it will be just fine for people who aren't expecting luxury. It is clean. Everything worked in my room. Try and stay on the highest floor (4th?) with...

Well, this city is far away from everything. But it's normal, if you want to enjoy a few relax moments. But the main proble is that in this hotel you can't. Every stuff people is very unpleasant, more or less no one can speak english, and if there's someone who can pay more than what you pay, they'll have a...

The Hadthong Hotel has probably the best views over the Bay in Prachuap, just be sure to ask for Sea View. Unfortunate the Hotel has seen much better Days and in urgent need for renovation. They are making an attempt of doing so by building a new Restaurant. Let's hope the Breakfast Buffet will be improved as well, at the...

First looks of the Hotel, reminds Hotel from 1960. Rooms are basic, nothing special. Scenery from the balcony is awsom. I recommend to take "high floor" 4th or so. Pool is nice, although it has quite huge amount of chlorum, so long swims aren't so nice. Breakfast was worst what I've have had in a hotel, but the restaurant offers...

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. Whilst the staff were generally wonderful some of the rooms were very average. Over 4 nights we stayed in 3 rooms... A result of enjoying the area and wanting to extend... The rooms we stayed in on the 5th floor were great with astounding views. Great views on the 3rd floor too...
