We stayed 3 nights at Canadian Bear Guesthouse B&B on our tour in west Canada. Ron is the perfect host (Shauna was at work, so we did not met her), assisted by his lovely dog Stuart. He knows a lot of the area and gives good advice on what you can do and when you can do it best. He... More

Just amazing, gorgeous house, gorgeous room, great hosts and not forgetting the adorable Stuart.. Great welcome from Ron and Shauna with their lovely deck, great views and hot tub. Bedroom was gorgeous and great common room. Really could not fault this in any way. Breakfasts scrummy and also recommendation for local restaurant the "Painted Turtle". They should be so proud... After arriving at this B&B we completely came to rest. We wish we could have stayed longer. The owner is a gem. Engaging conversations, very service orientated and extremely friendly. He made sweet or savoury breakfast which was a perfect start for the day. If the weather would have been nicer, we would have stayed a day sitting on the... More

We were surprised by the beautiful and quiet area. We stayed in a fully furnished and clean cabin. A lot of privacy. Outside was a lovely garden, terrace with nice views. We could use a hot tub. The owners, Ron and Shauna Plamondon, were very kind and willing to give information about the Wells Gray Provincial Park Owner and more.

We had the pleasure to stay with Ron and Stuart for 3 nights in August. Our downstairs bedroom was large and tastefully decorated. Not only do you have a bedroom, you also have use of a lounge and a small kitchen area. Ron is happy for you to share the beautiful veranda with stunning views and his hot tub, my... More

We stayed for two nights in the wonderful Cabin. We were enroute between Kamloops and Jasper, with the intention of visiting Wells Gray Provincial Park. The cabin was a great find. Very cosy and comfortable with amazing views across the valley in a most peaceful setting, yet close to the small town of Clearwater with supermarket and restaurants. We took... More

The beauty of staying at a B&B is that you get to interact with the owner, and as a foreigner, you get to taste a bit of the culture. Ron was an amazing host. We extended our stay by a night just so we could extend one of our best experiences. An amazing amazing breakfast! If they still have the... More

We only stayed for one night at this fantastic B&B. Shauna and Ron were very hospitable and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were huge and well equipped. You can also use the lounge, the patio and a hot tub.

We stayed only one night on route from Penticton to Jasper. We wish we had booked two as this would have given us a whole day to explore the local provincial park, which we learnt from Ron, our host, includes an abundance of waterfalls. Sadly we only had time to visit Spahats Fall which was amazing. Ron & Shauna were... More
