Siwash Lake Ranch is pretty much the most out of the way 'hotel' that we've ever been to as a family, but having spent four idyllic days there, I can confidently say that it was the most worthwhile and wonderful time I think we have ever experienced together. As we arrived after a long drive, we were greeted by Allyson... More

We spent five very happy nights at Siwash and were expertly looked after by Allyson and her always-obliging team. The 'glamping' style tents are great fun and well thought out - the huge double bed was exceptionally comfy. The highlight for us was the activities - especially the riding, which (even as complete novices) we loved. There is a focus... More

We stayed at Siwash for 5 days in July travelling with our 3 children ranging from 6 to 15 yrs old. We stayed in a 2 bedroom ensuite tent which it would be unfair to describe as camping. It was an amazing holiday with different highlights for everyone. For my daughter and I, me as a first time rider, it... More

We stayed at Siwash Lake Ranch for 5 nights and greatly enjoyed the experience, despite mixed weather. We rode horses every day and even on a rainy day the cowboys kept our 4-year old daughter busy grooming her favourite horse or showing our 6-year old boy where eggs come from (not the supermarket!). There is plenty of other activity that... More

My family and I stayed at the Ranch with hopes of good family fun, adventure great food and relaxation. The adventure part- the crew for activities were great. We stayed in the lodge/House which at night and morning was noisy from the cooking crew(no doors on the kitchen). Waking up to muffins and coffee at our door is a nice... More

we spent three nights at siwash in one of the very luxurious "tents". the design and placement of these is perfect and gives such a peaceful nights sleep. the food was absolutely superb. the care and attention of all the staff was outstanding. we did horse riding (my first time) and went on a couple of hikes. all the guides... It's hard to describe the magic that Allyson and the team at Siwash create for their guests. We stayed for 5 days in their amazing canvass cabins (complete with heated bathroom floors) and enjoyed a wide array of adventures including equestrian coaching, yoga, hiking, learning to fly fish, relaxing deep tissue massage, and archery. I'm a "foodie," and was delighted... More

I have just read a few of the previous reviews and I heartily agree with them - Siwash Lake Ranch is truly wonderful experience. If I had to choose just two items to highlight, they would be the gourmet food and the superior customer service. Derrick is an outstanding chef - each meal is fresh, full of delectable tastes and... My wife and I visited Siwash for a week for our anniversary in early August, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. The resort is located in a beautiful meadow, surrounded by hills, with two small lakes in the middle. The "tent" in which we stayed (really more like a spacious, multi-room, soft-sided cabin with the most... More

We were looking for a dude ranch that had activities in addition to riding. We like horses, but didn't want to just ride all week. Siwash was perfect for that reason, and many others. The range of activities means there is something for everyone, even our picky teen. We rode for 2 days, went fly fishing, spinner fishing, hiking, paddleboarding,... More
