My company booked me at this hotel for July 1, 2016. When I arrived to check in, I was greeted by a friendly desk clerk and proceeded to go to my room. I noted on my way to the room that the halls etc were very dated. When I opened the door to my room, my wife and I were... More

This is an easy place to get to, right off the Trans Canada Hwy, but it is pretty old and worn. Not dirty, just tired. The restaurant has nice windows, and the only waitress is cheery and helpful, but no one was eating there. We had burgers, which were ok. The very nice lady at the front desk was apparently... More

The hotel is very convenient and comfortable but everything looks old and worn. The room was clean and bed comfortable. We had a double bed for 2 of us which was smaller than what usual hotels offer. The wall paper, bathroom fixtures and everything about the hotel appeared worn and old looking, yet functional. The free breakfast was okay with... More

I booked a room for the night of a Christmas party in town. Our room stank like stale smoke and the whole place was dirty. I instantly regretted booking this hotel. The decor is out dated and worn, the pool looks disgusting I would t even go into the pool room. Will never book there again.

Sadly this place has gone through a horrible down slide. It is being run by a Skelton crew who seem to have lower standards than the previous management team. A fellow guest heard the front desk staff say that they shut the heat off when it's nice outside. As he stated this he was wearing his winter jacket! The common... More

Needed a cheap room prior to a medical appointment in town when a snow storm was predicted. The room was very clean but tired. The heat had been turned down to 50 when I arrived which took some time to warm up. The pool and dining room are both closed for the immediate future. My room was not recently renovated... More

We really enjoyed our stay here recently. Loved the location, on the Tantramar Marshes. It is also close to places like Moncton, N.B., (which has the Magnetic Hill, zoo and water park), the fixed link to P.E.I., and is right on the border between N.B. and N.S. The rooms are large and very, very clean. You get a complimentary breakfast... More

Selected for proximity to highway. This property really needs serious help. Room was clean, but public areas very run down. We didn't even want to stay for morning coffee! Not recommended unless it is important to be one minute from the Transcanada entrance.

The outside could use a little tlc but the room was very clean and tasteful. I did not use the pool but I did go to the restaurant for dinner. They modified a dish to make it vegetarian for me, which I appreciate, and it was very good. Super friendly staff.

The Wandlyn is right off the main highway with easy access to Joggins, Springhill, Moncton, and of course Amherst. I am traveling with a well behaved Labrador retriever and the owners of the Wandlyn were more than willing to have us stay at their motel. The motel does look " tired" but the room was clean and the bed was... More
