Thanks Jim for a lovely stay in the Regent B&B. I only stayed one night and it was pouring rain so did not have enough experience to rate higher. However, we had a comfortable one night stay at this quaint little home and thoroughly enjoyed our host. Seriously - he can make a mean blueberry pancake. And he has a...

The Innkeeper is warm and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully furnished within this historic home. Breakfast is absolutely marvelous. We highly recommend this B&B. After staying at this beautiful Inn, we came back a few days later to enjoy it once again! (May/June 2016)

This B&B is located in an older home. One would expect less than modern fixtures and comforts. That is true here, but also true that there really isn't a lot of effort to maintain a high quality establishment. I think the lack of reinvesting into the buissness is very apparent. Breakfast was very good as was the coffee. The entrance...

Jim was a warm and capable host, and his breakfast was delicious. The home is a real museum piece with many original details, and is well-kept. We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed that there were so few restaurants available to choose from. Of course, this is not the fault of the B&B owner, but is disappointing when such nice...

This is an amazing victorian. We stayed in the yellow room, which was small but oh so beautiful. The private bath was very nice as well. It was unseasonably hot though and it was a bit stuffy despite the fan. The decor of the house includes many artifacts from the Arctic-very interesting. Our host was very nice and the best...

I understand the un-air conditioned rooms can get a little stuffy, but we rarely get days hot enough to be uncomfortable. As well, we find many of our guests do not like air conditioning so we keep two of our rooms open to outside air, but facing the prevailing breeze. This is our first comment in over ten years regarding...

What a wonderful place with a warm and welcoming host. I made a booking & was given a choice of rooms . I chose the tartan room with spa bath. Breakfast was a home-cooked meal of waffles / blueberry pancakes & bacon with tea / coffee. A beautiful & charming place - I thoroughly recommend it to others who need...

The regent is an old house that has many interesting features, including original wood and stained glass. The proprietor, Jim, has a good sense of humor. He makes a good breakfast, and the table is set up so that conversation is encouraged. The rooms are a bit small but they are nice.

We come here whenever we are in the Amherst area to experience this gracious home away from home and to enjoy the hospitality and the wonderful breakfasts. We have stayed a week at a time and experienced a different and expertly prepared breakfast each morning! The spacious room, very comfortable bed, well appointed private bath and the access to the...

We stayed in several B&Bs in NS but this was one of our favorites; the man of the house was in charge when we stayed; the wife and daughter were out of town, but lest you think we got less than we should have, au contraire, mon frere! He is a retired Colonel but he knows his way around a...

A lovely accommodation tastefully displaying masterful Inuit art throughout. Our hosts made my wife and I feel very welcome. The room was comfortably appointed with amenities that included free wi-fi, modern television, in-room refrigerator and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, varied and generous. Conveniently located to many attractions. I would recommend and look forward to return.
