I spend some days in fireweed hostel, it's very well situated if you like Hiking. You can easely go to Emerald Lake, lake Louise, O'hara Lake, wapta falls... Plus, the hostel is super clean, and the staff is friendly. I highlly recommend that place !

Our family of 5 booked two rooms here - one for my husband and I and another for our teenagers. We could have all fitted into one room but it would have been a very tight squeeze. Booking the two rooms for our own use made it a little bit expensive but we decided it was worth it for the...

Cute little hostel in the hart of field! A bit noisy during the night if you have a room facing the train tracks. Big kitchen and shared living area. Hostel was clean and had friendly staff! Unfortunately we could only stay here for one night.. but would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for just one night but were amazed by how nice it was - certainly a hidden gem. Unfortunately we had not brought supplies to cook, which was disappointing for us as the kitchen was so beautiful. The hostel is decorated to a standard I would dream of in my own home and has everything you could need....

A very cute little hostel in Field, and the nicest hostel I've been in. Very tidy and clean Owners are lovely, welcoming, and very helpful. Solid wood bunks, very comfortable, nice duvets. Most of the shared rooms have double bunks on the lower part (i.e. good for couples). Shared living area has a fully equipped kitchen. Also has bbq, fire...

I didn't travel very far, just having come out from Calgary, but wanted to treat myself to a night away in order to go skiing. I figured on a day before Christmas, I'd still find something reasonable and not too crowded. Well, for $30 I booked a bed in a shared room, but it turns out that I was the...

Stayed here as part of a group, two couples and we were`nt disappointed. The Hostel itself has a ground floor self catering two bedroom apartment which is separate from the rest of the facility which we stayed in. What more can I say than that. There is a BBQ and Fire pit in which to use. The place was clean...

This small hostel is a definite step up from an inner-city hostel. It is cozy, with a great shared kitchen, clean facilities and mostly comfy beds. I personally loved watching the trains go by while eating breakfast on the balcony. Field is a tiny village, so pack accordingly, dress warmly for the mountains, and enjoy the view from the Fireweed....

The hotel is perfect to visit the Canadian Rockies. It is very close to Lake Louise and Yoho park. Field is a nice little town. The flat on the ground floor is great for a family and very clean. The garden has stunning views of the mountains. If you like trains, you'll be fascinated. The Field train station is litteraly...
